Mr Happ Gallente Hellbound Saints	Posted - 2006.09.04 12:07:00 - [1] So, i woke up this morning, around say, i think it was 3am eve time (i fell asleep @ about 7pm last night) and i think, hey i need trit for my new mega, so i load up my alt Mr Happ with his Itty 5 and head for a belt. So after about an hour there is a guy in the belt in a af, now bare in mind im mining in a domi, half nos/web/scram and half mining/harvester drones. So he says in local Happ respond, are you are you a macro miner, if so im going to steal your ore, now i of course, just think what an idiot and ignore him, so he coems for the can so i lock him and stand ready. He says oh you are alive, are u a macrominer corp? i again ignore him as i was busy afk'ing and working whilst flicking back to eve evert 2 mins to move the ore to a can. So he takes the ore and starts flashing, so i nos/scram/web and recall my harvesters and let out my Ogre's II's and full on wtfpwn him. Now this should have been the end of it, but he petitions me claming i used an exploit to kill him and im a macro miner. I had GM's convo me and ask me about my accounts. Moral of this story is - Don't assume everyone in small corps or NPC corps are macrominers because u will get a nasty shock. We need a YEAR without ANY 'new content'. Nothing but BUG FIXES. New content that does not work is WORTHLESS.

GMs were also right to query u - however u responded and thats the end of it one very red faced noob is now enyoless that said it seems standard policy if u respond and u are using macros (u obviously arent but ISK farmers do) they leave u alone if u dont respond ie afk macros it seems that they do ban in this case he took a chance and lost and u were queried u came up as a real player end of story (nice kill to)

Nothing but BUG FIXES. New content that does not work is WORTHLESS.

Its 16 macro isk farmers operating in and around agil, people talk so much smack on the forums about how they want to kill macro miners and here there is a corp, and actually corp, that they are in, just there for the taking. I mean Im only a one man corp right now but when I get my skills high enough I will more than likely war dec them myself, I just dont see why someone else hasnt already.

Well while it would be a good idea, they just be a hardcore mining corp. My old corp was just full on miners, going back about 6 months. This is a bit of an ethical debate here - you're saying you blew him up for stealing your ore, but to him you appeared to have all the hallmarks of a macro miner, which are of course, the scum of the eve universe. So there he was doing a GOOD DEED when trying to upset your operations - which should be promoted, as there are too many real macro miners in this game.

BINGO!!! DING DING DING DING DING DING PLEASE STICKY THIS IMMEDIATLY! This post outlines very nicely why the CCP Petition system and in game support sucks so badly right now. Too many jackelope petitions like this in the game, in fact I'm willing to bet that 90% of the petitions in game are essentially completetly invalid. This guy deserves to be killed, he's an ore thief. Quite frankly I don't give a **** whether someone is a macro miner or not, if you steel you deserve to die.

One time I was reported while asking in local if I could help the guy that had just flown up to me in his cruiser and was just sitting there. All the while I was fighting off NPC's and moving around looting their cans. Hello? taps on the cruiser on his monitor screen The GM's were always polite when contacting me though. Very professional. They even appologised for bothering me. I just hate that they had to waste their time on it
