It's been almost 6 months since my defection from the Amarr doctrine.
I left the Empire with a dark cloud looming over my head.
Will my parents send mercenaries after me to take me back to them?
Will the Academy ever forgive my treason? Will they place a bounty on my head?
What fate awaits me in the depths of lawless space?
These are just 3 of the questions that have haunted me for the last six months. Everytime I close my eyes to sleep I am haunted by images of being forcibly brainwashed to become "a good citizen" again. To be "enlightened". To be stripped of my freedom and sense of self.
But during my waking hours I am surrounded by friends and collegues. "Good" people by my definition. "My" people. My corporation. People who stand together with purpose! Because simply standing together, without purpose is like falling into the abyss holding hands. It romantic, but stupid. No, Coreli has purpose. A place for everyone, and everyone in his or her place.
Admittedly I havn't changed the universe yet. I was a bit naive I admit, but I have done a lot of growing up during my stay in Curse. I've kept the cloning scientists very very busy during the last six months! No, not with my kills, but with my unfortunate deaths! I always thought that being a female would be a boon to my somewhat illegal business, but infact it has been a curse! Men are drawn to me like flies it seems! I jump through a gate only to be greeted by 6 ruffians on the other side! And no time for small talk either! I know that I could just get a plea in over the comms I couls plead my case and shed a tear or 2, but these guys are totally immune! None of my deaths were my fault ofcourse! The pod interfaces on Amarr ships are simply not up to standard! They're clumsy at best, and absolutely primitively horrible at worst! But I'm adapting, slowly.
So I'm still with Coreli Corporation, despite the predictions of some *wink*. My day to day life is spent not only working with my friends and collegues to further our preparation for boosters, but also to further my own bank balance! Things couldn't be better! I have a steady job with lots of perks, in a corporation of friends. And ofcourse we have the backing of the Serpentis Corporation, which is always a nice card to play in pleasure dome fights! A girl has to keep her face out of harms way you know.
So to all those poor short sighted sods that wouldn't give me the time of day 6 months ago! (Especially the Amarrians)

This is why I fly caldari and minmatar ships. The clone interfaces are more advanced. Good luck dear, may wisdom quide your many paths.

Hehe, an Amarr in U'K. Guess we're all traitors these days.
At least that's what they say, the people who are too stuck-up in patriotic fervor to see the dirty truth behind corporate facades and Imperial propaganda.

All of the world is a lie, the senses devieve us and logic confounds us at the most basic level of the universe.
Matters of the state are filled with nasty, dirty truths that are themselves lies to uphold the fabric of our existence.
This hardly means that one should reject it outright, rather it can solidify one's resolve and leave their chosen collective the better for it.
I of course say this as one state born to another and it's not an attempt to sway you from your beliefs. Merely a friendly piece of writing.
