Instead of BM's made for every character. Make them link to the entire corporation.
That'd easily, instantly reduce the load ... a lot less.

First, give facts to back up your assumption. Secondly, learn some math.
Linking BM's to an account wouldn't make any difference at all. There are still the same ammount of bookmarks with the same ammount being copied.
That because I don't think alot of people train and uses a second character on the same account except as region checkers, scouts etc.

posting my post in another thread here.
Linking to corp is the best way to handle this problem, it doesn't upset people by screwing over BMs too much and it'll also lessen the lag involved with copying.
Tbh it gets rid of the only real problem with it, IMO, which is the lag.
Instajumping prevents the game from becoming insanely tedious, especially for people in 0.0.
The people who complain "ZOMG you can always get past my gate camps" really are just too lazy to throw a bubble in front or behind the gate. Hell, you can even camp the other side if you don't like bubbles, all you need is a couple interceptors or something with you. The only people who really complain are people who would like to be able to camp a gate by themselves solo in a battleship, and whine when something can get past them and that they can't be lazy whilst "pirating"
This is coming from somebody who spent faaar too long camping gates in the earlier days of the game.
