Chribba Otherworld Enterprises Otherworld Empire	Posted - 2006.09.05 07:30:00 - [1] As some of you are aware of EVE-Files uses volunteer admins to review and verify files that you upload. So far they have received nothing except my gratitude. I have decided to try and alter that now, with the help of you. I have decided to "charge" (read for you to donate) one million ISK as a monthly fee for your EVE-Files account. Now before some of you go wild screaming beggar or flame (no worries though, go ahead I got all protective gear suited up) the reason why this has been decided is simply to be able to give something back to the volunteers that put in an enormous effort into EVE-Files. And in my opinion, one million ISK per month shouldn't be a great deal to either of you in return what you get, but of course this is something you have to decide, I will and cannot enforce this "charge" by any way and have to rely on your generosity. Every month you will get a notice when logging in to your EVE-Files account, this notice will only show up once every month as a little reminder, and hopefully not be too disturbing. I for one can feel that 1mil isk is somewhat of a significant chunck of my hard earned (yet virtual) money. Maybe a .5mil and say a 10mil package would entice more people to use eve-files :D And definately give incentive for the volunteers too... - want a sig like mine? 5m! Of course if people want to pay 10M, they are more than welcome to do so And if someone cannot afford 1M/month then it's all fine to pay nothing or whatever they feel they can spare. I used 1M as a guideline rather than a set sum, altho I think that most players make more than 1M/month so it really shouldn't be that hard, but as said, it is everyones own decision to make.
