I'm a Minmatar AF/Inty pilot, and I'm currently training my drone skills. Since I now have good drone skills I figured I should throw in Gallente Frig V and get myself an Ishkur. I usually do 0.0 PVP in gangs of other t1 and t2 frigs. I was thinking about setups for it and I realized that the Ishkur can be a very good support ship in a situation like that. Has anyone used or seen an Ishkur used as a support ship in a frig/cruiser sized gang? I like the idea of a small target with a good tank and a bay full of logistics drones, with the meds doing stuff like sensor dampening and tracking disrupting. Although I have no experience flying t2 Gallente frigs, I whipped up this setup in QuickFit. Highs: 3x 125mm Rail II Meds: Catalyzed cold-gas MWD Phased Muon Sensor Damp Baker-Nunn Tracking Disruptor Lows: Small Armor Rep II N-Type Energized Reactive Plating Local Power Plant Manager Capacitor Power Relay Drone Bay: 1x Med Armor Rep Drone 1x Med Shield Rep Drone 2x Lgt. Armor Rep Drone 1x Lgt. Shield Rep drone

Unless you have a good reason to keep the MWD, I'd get rid of it and fit something else instead, it'll give you more cap for your EW mods. If you still want some speed, you could fit an AB. If you want to use your Ishkur that way, I don't really see why you'd need an MWD since you're not tackling. Sensor dampeners and tracking disruptors have a high enough optimal range that you can basically sit still and put the EW hurt on targets from a safe distance. You could even fit a sensor booster instead of an AB/MWD. --- High quality pics of ALL EVE ships!

Good point, with the absence of MWD I have a few options. I can either go with AB, retain enough speed to keep at range and bolster the cap to normal levels while still having the CPR, or I could fit the sensor booster to get a faster lock, longer range, and free enough powergrid to put a 200mm Rolled Tungsten plate on.

He could, but I'd be far more impressed if he took me down in an ishkur. God, how I wish AF's weren't overlooked so easily.

Fitting an Ishkur as a support frig with logistics drones is like fitting a Mega with shield and cap transfer arrays and remote armor reppers. You can easily do it, but why?
