Noob question - Labs and POS

Felcas Minmatar Galactic Industries Ltd.	Posted - 2006.09.06 07:24:00 - [1] Hy guys I would like to know about this... I heard of a rumor someone was runing 100 labs withing a Large POS. I checked the descriptions on all CT but the Caldari wich is the most CPU powerfull is only capable of runing 15 labs. considering only the labs. For instance the labs data file say it only accept one user concurrent at a time. This comes to the following question... One lab have more then one slot? I mean once a pilot occupy the lab there will be available more then one slot for him in this single lab? or it is just 1 slot per lab? Also if I set up a POS focused on lab research is it possible to let pilots from other corps to dock and use my labs? franny Phoenix Knights	Posted - 2006.09.06 08:16:00 - [2] the concurrant user crap is wrong, you can have several people usign the lab at once the slots a lab has 3 ME 3 PE 1 Copy the other corps using it looks like it was INTENDED, but doesn't work

I hope this is fixed now, but I don't see why you couldn't keep adding labs to a POS, onlining them, starting research and then offlining them and anchorning/onlining more. The concurrent users is more to do with being able to do things at the same time, rather than multiple jobs - AFIAK

ME stands for Material Efficiency wich means I research my BPO to make it much more economic on the material needed to build stuffs? PE should be TE or Time Efficiency wich means I research BPO to make it faster to build stuffs? Is this correct? Thanks again Yes this is spot on ME = Higher level = less waste PL = Higher level = faster production time Insured Research and Production Services
Fatsam	Posted - 2006.09.11 12:46:00 - [11] All unresearched BPO's have 10% waste built into their material lists, even with production efficiency 5. ME research reduces this by the following formula: Waste = 10% waste / (ME + 1) Therefore the returns to materials saved for each level of ME drops exponentially. I personally research mine to ME10 using NPC facilities, though if I had a POS lab I would research them further :)
