there is nothing in that preventing the barber from cutting his own hair. Now if you said he's the only person allowed to cut other people's hair, and he only cuts the hair of people who don't cut their own hair. then it would work(by not working) otherwise he can easily cut his own hair or get someone else to do it, as there are no restrictions in place otherwise.
