I am kind of excited, I finally broke 5 million skill points today! Hooray for Agent Shield. Time to go out and celebrate.

Soren is correct. Just because it is high in number, may mean I have many skills at only level 3 or possibly 4.
Until I see the direction of skills go towards a certain field, then I will continue to get well rounded in all areas so I can survive on my own if need be.
Some people, who have support personnel, can go stictly one direction; but when I ran a CREW of TWO, I needed to be the business side of our corp, and have just enough fighting skills to where I can protect myself.
I venture in the future I will be having to make a choice of direction and it will be towards research/production as those skills are setup pretty good.

hmm... only about 2.6million poins for me, i knew i should of trained my learning skills up, instead of just covering everything and generalising without them.
as ive been playing since release (well a few days after) nearly, but i did loose some 44 days due to computer problems, but 5 mill skill points is still crazy.
well done.
note to all noobs - dont be like me and think learning skills wont make that much oif a difference !!!!!!

i'm still 2mil
btw difference between 2.5mil and 5mil is one skill level per skill
For example, the guy with 5mil has all skills on lvl4, and the guy with 2.5 has same skills on lvl3

4.2mil points, started about a month after the game went live, learning skills are important.
4x lvl 5 skill
26x lvl 4 skill
26x lvl 3 skill
6x lvl 2 skill
14x lvl 1 skill
always a bonus if you conentrate on skill that favour your best stats, ie engineering and electronics when you have good int/mem stats

i believe u r wrong there.....skill tiem increases exponentially......aka its 250 then 1414 not 500......(comparing lvl 1 to 2) thast just rank one also
