hed-gp springs to mind. During the SA vs CA war, it was often camped by one of the two. This was before the Doril->Sendaya jump was added, so in order to get supplies to both curse and stain, one would have to go through hed-gp.

I would say b-vip and doril are still extremely camped. My experience in curse backs that up in many lost ships. Booooo signature hijack. Hooray beer! |

Same... First on one side of the fence, then on the other... Then camping it against noobs like hammy, then camping it with noobs like hammy. :D
Course, back in the day, the saranen entrance in 93pi(?) was pretty bad too...

I would bet it on EC-P8R or P3EN-E. B-VIP9 is far from camped. It is safe to go through like 90% of the time! And if it is being camped, it is either us, Veritas or some other local corps.

If I remember correctly (and I'm not sure if I do ) an issue of EON had PF-346 as the most dangerous system in Eve.

from what i've seen, KBP7-G is camped almost 23/7, with usually a large engagement 1-4 times a day. It's probably not as well known because it's in upper providence and connects to Devoid, but there are alot of people blown up every single day.

Issue #3 had the top 10 most dangerous systems by ship kills over the last 3 months. Oursulaert was number one and none of them were 0.0 systems. Jita and Rens were also in there and a few low sec hot-spots like Amamake and Egghelende.
Slightly surprising none of the 0.0 chokepoints even made the top 10. --------------

EC-P8R is nuts. Ive only been through that gate 6 or 7 times to get to the Cassini ISS outpost and each time it was camped. Camping groups also change within minutes. I went in and a few battelships were camping, came back to a few cruisers, and 10 minutes later re-entered to a battlecruiser inty team... cans everywhere .

P3EN is unpredictable, sometimes it has a heavy camp but more often than not it's got bugger-all on the Obe gate. For some reason the Northern alliances enjoy camping M-OEE8, even though P3 gives you access to teh same systems in the same number of jumps. It's like putting dead-bolts and electrified door-knobs on your front door while replacing your back door with some string beads; the mind boggles.
From past experience, I'd say HED-GP is definitely up there as one of the worst, followed closely by PF- and EC-P. -----

PF-346 used to be one of the worst, now its like meh. You'll get 3 or 4 people sitting on gate with no bubble that just jump out as soon as 2 people get into local. Nothing like when I was with VLINC and we'd camp it for hours just to have the goons show up shortly before we headed back to base (yarr blue goons).
M-O (Lonetrek - tribute) was pretty tough when i was there in ERA. Always D2 or RAZOR or Tau Ceti there. --------------

All those areas are more frequently clear than you might imagine.
I lost my first ship in EC, and I lost it so fast to a small sniper camp back in the day of scorp boosting that I thought pretty much all pvpers could dish out 20x as much damage as I could. This was long before t2 ammo, so you can understand why I hugged empire for ages, mostly doing alot of hauling and trading.
If you are used to npcing in deep 0.0 where little traffic goes except hostiles, the bottlenecks can seem like a nasty place.
If you try living in major highways and 0.0 nodes and deliberately choose to be a non-nbsi alliance.. then you develop a highly rarefied outlook.
Half of the groups that haunt those places in the south actually make it feasible to acquire blue standing without too many burdens these days. In the north, the Pure Blind rats are viewed as a free noob-bouncer service.

EC-P8R was the best. Soo much traffic of all kinds.

HED-GP gets my vote for hottest entry point in the South.
A2- used to be hot as well but all the new entry points have made it a backwater boring place.....
In the day Gehi was the primary staging point for the south and you could sell large GSC all day long there at 1.2M isk each. Nowadays - it is a nothing burger....
Everyone now runs and hides in Agil and goes to HED-GP to fight. |

We not long ago had a war with an alliance based in KBP7, and I spent many hours there camping their 25 man blob with my Arazu. Its a sunday school playground compared to EC-P8R.

During the beginning of the first FIX/SE war, SLIM and I camped A2- for a weekend and came out with 200 odd kills or so. Maybe not super impressive in terms of numbers, but considering our laziness and the size of fleets moving back and forth through the area its a decent amount of kills.
My vote for some of the historic hotspots would probably go to HED-GP or PF-346. With the introduction of some of the newer gateways, a lot of the old traffic has shifted.
KBP7-G doesn't hold a candle to any of the major highway systems, mostly because Providence sucks, its a route to nowhere in particular, and the only people who camp it are:
a) bored b) enjoy killing people who try to claim providence or c) really bored

M-O is hotter because it the route to Jita/hubs. It didnt even exists as a choke before new entrys were added here and there.
My vote goes for pf- 1+ years ago, like many places it lost all its glory with all new chokepoints :( ___________________________ Brutors Rule! My Eve-vids; Click. |
