'Twas the down time before Rhea and all through the house
Not much was happening except me clicking my mouse.
The client was open on my desktop a waiting
with hopes of GÇ£onlineGÇ¥ to pop up so I can start gaiting.
The family were all somewhere upstairs,
While I sit at the desk giving Twitter a stare.
And mamma in her book and I at the desk.
Have just gotten ready to give Rhea a test.
The client look different, what does it bode
Is it ready, nope just VIP Mode.
I curse the little window 'cause I want to sign in
Why can't it happen I can't wait to begin?
Twitter keeps rolling with tweet and the such
What is it about EVE, why do I love it so much?
Then I start to think and smile hits my face,
it's because of the intergalactic arms race.
The time is getting close and I can't type any faster,
I want to fly my ship and shoot those small blasters.
Thrity more minutes, I can't wait any longer!
Is the game ready? Could I want this stronger?
I click the EVE icon it might be ready early,
no but Thera makes me giggle like a cute little girlie.
Not much longer, the clock slowly clicks
so I read the a dev blog to get a quick fix.
An hour and fifteenth is too long to wait,
it can't be that long, it has to be a mistake.
Come on Seagull, Falcon and Fozzie!
Come on Explorer, Puck and Grmmi.
Get that patch out there for us to abuse,
you have fans waiting you must amuse.
Twenty five more minutes to go,
so I go watch an episode of the o7 show.
The announcements make me want to fly your spaceships
but I know that I have to wait till the green GÇ£onlineGÇ¥ hits.
I click and click but the internet doesn't help,
I just watch Youtube for a little self-help.
I can only imagine how things will go.
Is it ready yet? Why hell no.
Whip those hamster give Guard a beer,
start the damned servers so we all can cheer.
I almost done with this rhyme and I still want to play,
I feel like a kid on the EVE of Christmas day.
I can't do much more on this silly rhyming tale,
I have to get the kids ready for school oh hell.
Time to stop and post to the forums,
I hope people like the product of my boredom.

there is only 14 minutes left on the clock!

Reading this has made my fingers start to twitch
I can't wait to log on and get my eve online fix
But I'm stuck at work with all this boredom
So I pass the time reading the eve forums
I can't wait to get home and give rhea a go
Using W A S and D to fly my crow
O how I can't wait to marvel at the new ui
While I use my Indy to fetch my pi
Some come on Seagull, Falcon and everyone else
Everyone's waiting and furiously clicking their mouse
