Anyway, since this place is sensitive enough to cater for people who find the word '**' offensive, perhaps they would find the time to add some phrases which I find offensive? Griefer PK/Player Kill/Player Killer Non-consensual PvP In the vast majority of cases (i.e. every one I have ever seen) these words are used to describe core elements of Eve as if they are a bad thing. Since I <3 Eve and Eve is FTW this offends me. They also attribute certain actions which are an established part of Eve's gameplay, and which I would undertake myself in certain situations, to people with questionable morals. Here on the Eve-O Fora, of all places, I would like myself and everyone else to be protected from being insulted for playing the game in a perfectly legitimate way. Is this over the top? Well, if you are going to protect me from people mentioning a certain sexual orientation, why not protect me from words with actual negative connotations which are actually relevant to the subject of these fora? ----------

I assume/believe that: - CCP could care less what we words/pics we use in these boards; moderation alone could handle inproper posts/topics - For CCP, it's simply sensible to enable the moderation, than get an image of a company who encourages cuss words and sexual content - CCP bought the moderation (and forum) software from some third party who uses standardized set of words - The selection criteria is based mostly on culture/legislature that gets hysterical on seeing a nipple on prime time TV.
