Hey, i want to join a new corp, but in order to join i need to leave my current corporation. But in order to do this, i need to be able to actually kick myself out, which leads to the first problem.
The "Expel member" option does not appear for myself when i click on my picture in the Corporation->Member section. I filed many petitions (correct ones and not  ) and i still have not found anyone that can get me out. I do not know if this should be in the known issues section because it doesn't seem to be known, and i don't know any workaround... yet..
Anyway, if someone can explain any other way to get out of a corp (note: this isnt a starting corp im trying to leave..) or if someone can notify someone in a high position that can forcefully remove me from it, it would be greatly appreciated...

You could send a nasty Eve-mail to your CEO, I'm sure he'll be very pleased to kick you out.
However, you should be able to just go ahead and fill out the application to the new corp and they will process it and you'll be shifted to the new corp once the "paperwork" is done.
If there continues to be a problem leavin a player corp, go app to a NPC corp then app to the player corp once your moved out of the 1st player corp.

Well, since the entire corporation other than myself is currently inactive (and has been for quite some time now), this won't work.
I sent an application to the corp i wanna join, and according to what they told me it was processed, but i was never moved to the new corp. Maybe its a bug? maybe someone else has this problem? I hope so...

just go to your corp menue then open up your application and the accept and your in

But, you can't see the application until you leave the corp  Right now it only has the apps from the members in my current corp. I think i need some divine GM to boot me out, which is what ive been trying to get for about a week now...

If you havent left yet...Right click your portrait in your Corp Chat, theres a "Quit Corp" option. Try that.
