Changing "shader quality" from low to medium fixed this for me... |

Nivek Steyer wrote:Scanning in WH seems to be broken. Back to the days of the mystery sigs and chasing your tail have returned. I have tried 10 different sigs and they all disappear upon going down to 8 AU probes. Nice we have a new warp trail Back in Time.
from the patch notes..
Quote: Cosmic signatures may now be filtered according to type. This allows players doing exploration to easily sort Ladar, Gravimetric, Magnetometric, Radar and Unknown cosmic signatures in their system scanner results. Signatures which are still too weak to register their type will not be excluded from this filter regardless of their actual type.
modify your filter and select the signatures as you wish, scanning is not broken.. |

Hakaru Ishiwara wrote:Something may be awry with scanning / probing. Haven't quite pinned down the problem, but I'm having great difficulty probing down a signature with a highly skilled char in a CovOps with Sisters Probes. My observation is that I can get the signature with 8AU range probes, but not a smaller range. And when I apply more than 1 probe to the signature, it disappears even when the original red sphere is covered with the probe spheres. I have never seen this type of behavior in the past two + years of probing down stuff. And I checked through the patch notes and did not find anything other than the new tech 2 probe launcher regarding scanning changes. Also, the scanning countdown timer sits at 6.0 seconds and does not actually count down when a scan is initiated. Disclaimer: I haven't read the previous pages if others have posted the same thing. What has changed, CCP? Jennalie wrote:Has anyone else found that scan probes are no longer locking in and scanning signatures effectively? Living in w-space and after 30 minutes of trying to lock down one signature I'm beyond answers. By now I would have had everything scanned down and located. Yep, seeing the same thing in null-sec. I can't even imagine what W-space occupants are doing right now. Need to import some ice products to your POSes? Ruh Roh. I'd petition the hell out of this problem.
Omg guys.. how many rants on something write down on the patch notes.. l2r..

EDIT: Good call. SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who woulda thought?
Yayyy!!
Jennalie wrote: Also, all IDs are ending with the same # which has never been the case.
And about this, it should be a stealth patch to the Sig IDs not changing after DT, we will see tomorrow if that is true.. |

Nemris wrote:Interesting. Starmap loads in 1-3 seconds for me on core 2 duo and nvidia 8800GT hardware. It's actually loading 2x-3x faster than before the patch. So it's not happening to everyone. Might want to post your video/cpu specs if this is an issue so they can isolate the probelm.
Load is indeed faster for me too, but the tactical overlay is not showing on the star map..

Another issue I noticed in the system map:
- select a bookmark
- right click -> edit/view location
- rename the location
- watch at the selected location, it has the old name
- close and re-open the system map -> fixed

Knives Harkonnen wrote:Good Morning, sorry if i notify a bug already reported, but when you lock a far wreck, the "open cargo" icon is white and not grayed until i reach it. Is a minor bug I know... no problem.
Thanks again, bye!
I think it's working correctly, CCP changed the way the buttons work.. now you can click on every icon even if you're not at range and the ship will approach/warp to the object you have selected.. |

Alliance members no longer can drop fuel in any alliance POSs, only the ones that thier corp owns. This changed with this patchspansion.
CCP, do you know about this bug? It is causing our POS management to be much more complicated!
Icarus Helia wrote:Refitting at pos's is ever so painfully slow. I timed it - fitting a tractor beam to a noctis (which used to take a second, maybe 2 tops) - now causes my client to freeze for anywhere from 30 seconds to 6 minutes.
As far as i know, both problem should be addressed in today patch..
