Looks like shortcuts may not be edited in the 8.50.52129 version of the client. |

Confirming I have this issue as well. You can delete shortcuts but not edit them.

I was just about to post a new thread about this since i couldn't find a thread like this earlier this morning
here's what happens when i try to edit my shortcuts

the screen basicly brightens up again and nothing else happens |

Same here, cannot edit shortcuts, having installed EVE on a new PC, I have cleared all the shortcuts as I have a very different layout.
Now cannot set any key shortcuts at all!
Please fix. |

Same problem. One thing I did notice is when you try to assign a shortcut it focuses on your chat window for you to type. |

I would almost bet that it is the same source issue as the hot-module crosshairs not moving. They seem to have broken the active window stuff with this release in their attempt to shade/blur/transparent the windows that are active/not active.
My guess that when you click to change a keyboard mapping, the active window defaults to something else, perhaps chat as mentioned, instead of the input for that mapping, since there isn't specifically a separate window for the mapping of the key if I remember correctly. |

But if I try to set a new one,

Yeah one of my Rhea installs was on a fresh windows install and I wasn't even trying to keep my old settings. Problem still existed, so it's not on our end. |

I had this set up on the first day on my main but once the patch after Rhea I couldn't set short cuts on my alts. My main can still use manual control but I can't change them or set them on any of my accounts.
Please Fix this quickly. |

Me, too! Perhaps that's actually somehow related to the cause of this problem. Adding in the new shortcuts might have screwed with something, since WASD are also by default used to walk around Captain's Quarters. |

Can confirm. Happening here too...some of my shortcuts are now blank because I cleared them hoping to be able to fix. Now I have to do a ton of stuff by manually clicking.
Almost lost a ship when it happened.
Using Ctrl Key.
