When i'm FC i will always lead my gang into a "Fair Fight" where sides are equal and equal doesnt mean blobbing the enemy but i will never suicide had your 18 man gang matched our guns or have been close i would have engaged regardless iirc your 10 man gang consisted of several bs's whereas we had 1 or 2 and t1 cruisers and frigs. I did try from the moment your second gang arrived in 3-f to raise extra bs support to give you a fight , but to no avail and thats not because i'm imcompetant either its because no-one was available in the area at that time and I for was was a little disgruntled about that. I most certainly was not going to give you guys easy kills to add to your wanted kill to loss ratio which we all know this is what you are wanting to achieve, stats are everything when you want to take on merc contracts, so the best way to do that is to blob and outgun your enemy. They jumped in, saw your gang and MWD'd back to the gate, or warped to safespots. There was nothing fishy going on. Just 2 well organized gangs with good communication between the 2 commanders and good use of scouts. We had no idea of your ambush plans, or even your location. All we knew was that you were somewhere between our gangs and we were going to sandwich you. However, we lost contact with your gang and continued, as planned to reinforce our cruiser gang. The commander of our 10 man gang was expecting your guys to head back to 9CG to change ships and get ready for us. This did not happen so we went home for milkshake and gingerbread men. The fact is, we wanted to end the war by bringing the fight to your doorstep like you wanted, and to show that we are not just empire gankers. Unfortunately, when we did, you were unprepared, unwilling, and unable to mount any defence.

At the end of the day, in amongst the smack..... a gud time was had by all. We had some gud fights, ganks etc etc on both sides. If those who smacked spent more time in a combat ship rather than SS'd or docked focussing on smacking, then maybe you might have had a better result. We had fun, we kicked your butt, now get over it. If your CEO's decide differently, then they will war dec us and try again. No doubt FIX will learn, improve and move forward from this war, as will we. Thanks again for the last weeks fun and the best of luck to FIX and all of its pilots for the future.

The war with the barracudas was a one sided thing. Its hard to kill an enemy that is fighting on thier terms. So FIX decided to fight on thier terms by staying in 0.0. This was a smart move. As for them hiding..... ha. Have you ever tried to take over 9cg!!!??? They dont hide! They fight till they are down to the last man and then come back even stronger. Do not underestimate them. Clearly through the short stint it shows that both entities approaach combat differently. Barracudas being smaller rely more on surprise and sneak attacks and they seem to have the tactic down. FIX are more of a face to face type. We have guidlines in which we all follow. In FIX there are lots of tactics we look down on that others find acceptable. But hey thats ok diversity is cool. Thanks for all the fun. Shoot ya later = P PS: To MaxSuicide whom I recieved some nasty Evemails from. In the end I have to say I had a couple straight up fights with Barracudas but also had them log when they were boxed in. So yeah they lie somewhere in the middle. On the logofsky lemme know if ya want the chatlogs to back it up.

Stabs, logoffsky, logonsky-traps, redock, instadock, notlogonatallsky, warp-between-ss, clonejumps, alarmclocks etc etc, are all viable gamemechanics, just like blobs, baiting, sniping are at the other end of the scale. Reason for this? Many... one good one could be that not all have their wallets so full of iskies, that they can afford to loose ships for the sheer feeling of being kamikaze.
