IŠve been searching the forums for information how the "lvl-up" between agents are working. HavenŠt found any information...
Atm IŠm stuck at lvl1 missions, and have been there for quite a while. I donŠt have any high social skillpoints, but nvm that for now. Question stands: What is it that affect your leveling? Standings to the corp youŠre working for? Standigs to the agent? The station? Or hasnŠt it anything to do wioth standings - I donŠt know at all.
Please explain, for an idiot
thanks! Eh? |

I believe the answer to your question is primarily the corp standing. That's what decides which agents you can use in a given corp.
Keep in mind that it does take a long time to build up standing to use another level of agent. There are only 4 levels to seperate the newest noobie from the grizzled mission vet.
The Connections skill, as well as working for the highest quality agent that you can will help.

Umm, pardon me if I assume the wrong thing, but you aren't expecting your level 1 agent to "level up" and start giving you level 2 missions, are you? You need to seek out a level 2 agent and see if your standing with her corp permits you to get missions from her. If you've been running level 1s for a while, I bet there is a level 2 agent somewhere in the galaxy that works for that corp, and which will give you missions.
A low quality level 2 is always more desirable than a high quality level 1. You'll "level up" to a high quality level 2 agent faster.

I am in a similar predictament. My current standing is 7.2 with my corp's agent, and I have earned 1100 points with them. I have not seen any lvl 2 agents open up to me yet (I've been looking on the map feature). Is that where we will see them first appear?

Try looking at the Agent's Corp info sheet. One of the tabs on that sheet is Agents, and it shows you all the Agents in that corp, and you can check your standing with all of them from that sheet. You can also see how much more standing you need to get. If you go over to the corp's standings tab, you can right click on the line for their standings towards you, then choose Transactions. This will show a list of all the standings changes, how much it changed and for what reason.

The other thing to remember is there are multiple lvl 1 high quality will get you access to lvl 2 quicker.
Check out on the agent table for the agents corp for all available agents and pick the ones with the highest quality that are available to you.

I made this mistake, thinking my Level 1 agent would send me to a level 2, but he didn't. I found them in the info on the corp I was doing missions for. ___________________________________________________ Serenity Prime Is Recruiting |

this is how you do it.
get a lvl 1 agent
do missions
every 3-4 missons look at the other agents under your agents corp
as soon as you can move to a better qual agent, do so
rince and repeat
you can get to lvl 3 missons easy within 2 weeks if you devote a few hrs a day.
-I don't necessarily agree with everything I say.-

I enjoying using the EVE Explorer located on the Grismar WIKI site.
You can do some very complex searches for agents. Even sort by how far away they are from your current system.
Find it on http://wiki.grismar.net
