The Warping **** Up
If you have someone locked but failed to equip a warp jammer you can still prevent them from warping by bombarding them with missiles.
This will prevent his ship from lining up to warp away and, despite him being "warp drive active", he will still take damage.
Very handy to equip even a standard m12 launcher with rockets for this purpose if you don't have the powergrid or cpu for an h-50.

Quote: If you have a good system, you can warp the fraction of a second it takes to load space.
Zezman,
I don't know what you've been smoking but any pirate corp. worth a damn will have the jump-in point full of so many drones and ships that the delay will cost you.
6 battleships with 6 drones each can destroy you before you've even loaded the screen.
Don't forget, your ship appears in the next system BEFORE your "Entering Space" bar is finished.
It doesn't even matter if you manage to load the system in time either. There's a definite gap between warps when entering a new system even when using autopilot. You will be warp-scrambled and webified like a mother****** and you WILL die.
Loading times have improved an awful lot with my new graphics card and the improved hardware but it still ends up with a dead ship.
Thanks to ******* ****** for the opportunity to test this out in an alt

The map doesn't update often enough for my liking.
I'd like to see Pilots In Space, Number of Podkills, Number of Shipkills, and Number of Jumps all updated every 60 seconds.

Quote: You can also attack afk indy miners in high sec space... not by targeting or shooting them, but by lining them up with a distant point you warp to. Set warp in an indy or cruiser, or battleship, something big, and if you are about 20km away from them and you fly thru them you should sent them sailing 60km away from the belt.

I got boosted nearly 40km away from a jumpgate after a Bestower rammed into me after warping in.

You could try placing secure cans at the warp-in point from a common entry point and hope someone gets pinged 100au's away - pretty useful form of passive defence.
Might be worth a try

Advanced Quitting Techniques
Leave the game repeatedly until you become a sad caricature of your former self and lose the respect of most, if not all, your fellow citizens.
