But the biggest praise should go to the stabbed defensive plexing farmers who worked 23.5 hours a day 7 days a week.
With their influence those who were left in Minmatar had zero chance of stopping this happening.
You guys better sell all those hulls before the market crashes. :) It's funny how the shoe fits when the other side choose to wear it. Amarr were in the position you described many times for a long time. We didn't lose the warzone though. I have no idea why minmatar imploded quite so badly. We finally get amarr to a level where we can take you guys on at your own game, what you've been asking us for all this time and you all break up! I blame that ***** PHOEBE :) With the threat of hot drop o'clock removed from Amamake all the rich huola dwelling minmatar went pirate to use their shiney shineys. And also FW plexing is boring as hell. Its only boring because you sit in evati. Ive been having lots of fun fighting pirates and the few minmatar who actualy do something
I've never lived in Evati check my kills dude

Ice Fire Warriors joined Snuff Box 4 days after Phoebe on 8th of November and huola did'nt fall until the 29th.
Phoebe started the exodus and more followed as a result.

That was just the usual pendulum. This time slightly worse due to a terrible timezone problem between the 2 militias. It really was as simple as that. We just couldn't cover 24 hours with the two EU based alliances when you started pushing Kourmonen and Huola.
I know you won't believe me but i love a good fight just as much as anyone else. But defending a home system against overwhelming forces is really stressful. Even more so when the outcome is inevitable.
I'm a pirate now. I enjoy that, i can still dock where i want, i'm still getting fights, everything is well.
We certainly won't have to wait long for the next winmatar **** up and after that the pendulum will swing back. I'll still be around then. :)

Though the Amarr were the aggrieved empire, the Minmatar commenced the war, and we were compelled in self-defense to repel the invader and to vindicate the imperial honor and interests by prosecuting it with vigor until we could obtain a just and honorable peace.
The existence of the war having thus been declared by the Empress, it became our duty under Scripture and our mortal laws to conduct and prosecute it.
Culminated by the fall of heathen Evati, this duty has been performed, and though at every stage of its progress we have manifested a willingness to terminate it by a just peace, the heathens have refused to accede to any terms which could be accepted by the Chosen consistently with the imperial honor and interest.
The rapid and brilliant successes of our arms and the vast extent of the enemy's territory which had been overrun and conquered before the close of the last fiscal year of YC 117 were fully known to the chosen people.

Congratulations on winning a war which was so inconsequential and boring that the opposing side left. This is a black day for FW, and I hope that there are still people in the Amarr militia who are clear-sighted enough to understand why.

Plenty.
Perhaps you should consider that the Minmatar spine withdrew precisely so that CCP could see how broken the system is currently?
Or it could be that other conspiracy... ...Zen Guerrilla got so good he blew up everyone around him except Shah Fluffers and they're the only 2 left?

I can't really speak for all alliances in the Minmatar militia but at least for FeO the only goal we ever had was "blow **** up". We never managed to plan further than that.

Now then.
Amarr Victor etc for us having 100% of the area, but question is for how long can we hold it? Days? Weeks? Months?
I had more fun last night with a few guys in Auner than I have had in months trying to defend minmatar target systems from the hordes.
As for what brought us here, it is undeniable that one of the main, if not the deciding factor was the decision oh "Huola Coalition" to drop FW or leave the area all together. Perhaps we could have managed 100% control with them still in but it would have taken weeks longer if it all possible. Personally I don't think we would have if the likes of Late Night/Iron Oxide/Vodka and Putin were still committed to the WZ.
Master Sergeant MacRobert put it well, the fact the core of Minmatar FW just left reveals how big the problems are in FW.
Whilst its bad to not be able to pew the names I remember from when I started FW 3 years ago some of the new blood around is nice.
All in all FW needs a fix but can still be fun. Don't blue ball, fly what you enjoy doing what you enjoy.

Firstly, congrats to Amarr!
In terms of the collapse of the Minmatar militia. It just got old and bitter. We used to be young and have hours of game time. But sadly our obsession has largely become a hobby. Consequently the idea of getting stressed over a computer game became unattractive and we left. I blame work, children and RSI.
I'm pretty convinced that this will be a good thing in the long run. The militia needs some new blood doing fun stuff. I'm sure we'll come back and alienate them in due course.

Actually the Caldari conquest was done above board - although the rules favored corporations who were active after downtime. And the best after DT corp was PERVS (who were also arguably the best Occupancy Warfare FW corp of all time).
Many Gallente at the time were more interested in sitting in Heydieles waiting for fleets to form, while more Caldari were interested in taking the warzone. But there were a bunch of us who regularly got roflstomped by PERVS on a regular basis. :)
