Id go with t2 shield hardners a t2 large booster and a really good damage mod in the lows. Depending on your skills cap and sheild regen is sufficient to tank/kill all angel spawns. The t2 hardners and booster make all of the difference in the tank setup. I dont use or need a cap booster as I rarely ever go low on cap or shields
I get 75-85 resists with a similar setup that can tank angels for quite a while. Also, remove a pdu for a bcu because 1) more than 3 is a waste (3 is arguable) and 2) with increased damage you dont need to tank as long.

XT-9k cruise, drop the sieges, you'll free more fitting for tank+heavy NOS
go at least 2 bcu, the faster you kill the rats the better

I used this setup for hunting angels - had no problems with any spawn whatso-ever
6 arb siege large booster (gist is possible), 2 amps, 3 invulns 3pdu, 2bcu
For those who say invu;ns aren't good against rats - against angels they are, as they deal all damage types (well, it varies from rat to rat I guess ;))

There a lot off better stuff if you look on escrow. That what youre using now is high CPU demanding. As well there a lot more damage/tankability stuff around.
Use a explosive and a kinetic hardener ( 1 each) thats the damage done mostly by those NPC.

i like the above ratting setup. i rat in 0.0 with my raven too. i had 2 stabs fitted but that didn't help me from getting ganked by 4 players. lost my raven. i went and i got another and for travelling i had it fitted with 5 x stabs. i was so lucky because one system out from my destination i got ganked by 4 players... and i managed to get away. though my shields took a beating cuz the raven is dead slow to turn and get up to warp! i think i am going to go with the above setup as best i can manage with my skills (say no to some of the T2 stuff)
i think when you're ratting in 0.0 anything will work against the NPCs... it's the other players you have to really worry about.

My favorite ratting setup:
6x arby siege, 1x large NOS, 1x tractor beam 1x Gist C-type Large SB, 4x hardener (1 of each iirc), TP 2x bcu2, 2x pdu2, 1x dcu
Gist booster is only around 100mil tops and makes a huge difference. Contrary to what many others say, Angels deal different primary damage based on type (Saints do EM/Thermal! ouch!) You need to have everything at least a little tanked.
I used to rat with XL booster and amp but better resists have been better than more boost...and my cap actually lasts a lot longer.

5 Valkyrie II ------------
With average skills this will tank any angel spawn np with uber skills its a breeze

Edited by: Tommy Blue on 07/07/2007 00:05:37 First of all, why a target painter? Its only helpfull when using it against small NPCs like frigates and destroyers. Your drones can kill them easily enough. And, if you do the math, using three seperate types of hardners is a waste. Using three invulns over 3 hardners gives more resists.

No, first of all, why the necro ? Thread is almost 9 months old and the forum's already choke full of Raven setups.
Second, Angel battleships don't have the full 400m sigradius, so a torp Raven WILL have an easier time killing them with a target painter.
