I am killing incursion rats in belts, but getting absolutely nothing for it. No loot, no bonuses, is it normal? |

Some of the incursion rats will only show up on your PVP overview settings, those ones have worse AI but much better loot. CONCORD defends them in highsec, but ganking them can still be profitable...

well, so far I killed 6 rats and only got some trash salvaging, less than i get from normal rats. I thought those incursion rats were supposed to give more loot or something as they are harder to kill
Not sure what do you mean, that they show only on PVP settings? |

They have occasionally been known to run missions aswell, like anomalys these requirements the use of probes to find but they have great loot drops,
though they do have fairly squirrely ai so will require either ganking or nuanced aggressive tactics to bring down.

Have you seen those at the gates?
These must be the literally dumbest rats ever.
They warp to 15 to the gate and then slowboat towards it,
as if they WANT to get killed! That's some stupid AI, really.......

Just to clarify my sarcasm, I'm referring to player incursion runners. You can shoot those and steal their stuff, but there are consequences. If you can mitigate those, you can make serious isk.

Ty, didn't know about Loyalty points. No need to feel sorry for me it is fun anyway. No I haven't seen any at the gates, but in one belt there had been kind of fleet of them with one big ship and 3 smaller ones, that killed all my t2 drones and almost destroyed my ship. If those are what you mean mission ones.

Missed the sarcasm lol as I am not English speaking. And I wouldn't dream of shooting any players, especially in High Sec.
But my original question was, why there is no loot of them or any kind of bonus. but if they give loyalty points it is ok then

there are tons of capsule NPCs who want to get shot at.

Shooting incursion rats outside of incursion anomalies is entirely pointless. They are there to inconvenience people (no mining, no mission running etc etc ) because an incursion is bad and in fact not a fancy battleship owners club meeting, where the ISK flows better than the champagne and the blood. |

ok thank you, I understand it now, thought was something wrong with my client, as i get no logs in the journal and i had problems with the launching the game all day yesterday. but if it is normal, then it is ok

You have to complete the incursion sites to get anything from incursion rats.
I highly recommend a faction battleship with faction/deadspace modules if you plan to solo these. |

Ty, no I do not plan anything like that, just was killing rats that were attacking me when I had been mining. Just wanted to know how all this system works. |

Im under the impression that you only receive your loyalty point reward once the incursion is completed, I recall receiving some random lps 3 days after i killed some incursion belt rats. |

Ty. Well I will wait until after incursion. I am not that much worried about that reward as of if my client is ok. After last patch I hadn't been able to launch the game and had to use a repair tool. I downloaded new one, but for some reason the date on it still shows as of an old one, so I thought maybe I just do not have all recent changes or something. I haven't been playing for a long time, just came back a few days ago. |
