Where to start? After today blog from ccp regarding recons and how they are immune to d-scan - this going to change a large part of eve online. Firstly , this proves once agian that the CCP only think and just only how to make "pvp-1337" even more happier. Without thinking that this will make worse for "PVE - noobs/minerr/traders/prod". What are the consequences of change in januar 2015? First, all PVE guys going to leave w -space (they are not interested that ccp constantly draws them in to the pvp) the prices of t3 will increase, (only few that will make the).
I quit now.
So, Eve is dying.

Sounds good too me. WH space is too crowded as it is and loot values have dropped as a result.
You have gotten several changes that have made your life easier(most notably mobile depots). The game can't just constantly get easier.

Just... wow. This guy is wormholer, because he can hide from other players.
He relies on d-scan to protect him, obviously... ... or has a bot that does it for him.
He's a better carebear than an highsec carebear ... ... but he's still a carebear. |

At this point, it's starting to look like their cages could use some rattling. Since clearly they're too comfortable.
I mean, heck, I personally thought that wormholes were fun. Lived in one for a while, the only thing that drove me out was the logistics and the thrice damned POS mechanics.

Funny how every time CCP does something it's construed as being pointed directly at what ever group the agrieved poster belongs to lol.
How in hell is the ability to be invisible on d-scan somehow more of a 'wormhole pve killer' than the ships that exist RIGHT NOW that can warp cloaked and target people with no decloaking penalty?
I mean, in this thread and the features and ideas thread people are freaking out over something not even as strong as things that exist in game already. It's foolishness.

Like, honestly. Just don't fly what you can't afford to lose, post scouts on your holes, and make sure you're on comms and in fleet. It's... not hard.

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."

I find keeping a close eye on who is trying to get into your hole to be a valuable life skill. And I'm not just saying that because I used to live in Vegas, either.

Well this made things complicated..
I can't even comprehend the comparison between this and afk cloaking to explain it, but we all know how it relates.
CCP - Outpost code is scary.
CCP Greyscale - Starbases - They need to look @#$%ing awesome, and people need to want them and
want to be around them and have them and use them and like them and want them and stuff.

Unless the combat probes from a recon are also unscannable I cannot see it changing much in terms of risk of attack.
If anything the change is going to make WH scouting and exploration safer if you use a recon to explore. |

You know, in the 6 or so years that I've been playing Eve, I've lost count of the number of times I've read this. Each and every time, the person quits, and Eve keeps on.
Can I have your stuff? It should be pretty shiny with all the isk you make in wormholes.
