Who gives a flying doo doo if you get 30,000 ppl on if you cant even play the game with 15,000 on due to stupid lag!!! Fire the ppl in the stupid eve store, quit worrying about makeing stupid card games and hire some damn techs that can assist you in resolving game play issues!!! To all you anal warts who will chime in supporting CCP you might wanna wipe the **** off your chin when your done. If you wanna ban me for ranting go ahead, I have 4 characters and will GLADLY find something else to do at this point and save myself the money.

eveplayer11	Posted - 2006.09.09 22:41:00 - [14] Edited by: eveplayer11 on 09/09/2006 22:43:55 last night there were attacks on the forum by some crazy guy, and a 400+(?) fleet battle. was the node "strenghtened" before the battle? was the crazy guy attacking the servers too? i want some explenations, but i cant complain without any idea of what happened. thats how i am lol! so if they would tell us what happened i could start complaining. but tbh it was probably just buggy code and the fleet battle made it all crash, not something that has never happened in a mmorpg before... people quit games for mutch less, but they dont spend 2-5 years playing mmorpgs so they cant face the fact that downtime accurs, bugs are common, and its all perfectly normal to the mmorpg genre.

You should think that this were a FREE mmorpg in early Beta state! And yeah i dont know why they bother talking about magazines, game cards and whatever crap when we cannot even play the game! it is only playable for 2-4 hours after server restart thats it... I cannot even load my skilltree in game right now... that is just great when you need to change skill...

() no im pretty sure they are trying their best to squish some bugs, design some better code, thinking up new stuff to put into game for us to play with and to also fit some RL time with family and friends in betwen everything. they are people at the end of the day you know and not a bunch of robots working for you to make a game. people make mistakes like everyone else but ccp try their best to make alot of us happy. (ofc unless a ccp employee posts here with a vid of them watching us lag out on big plasmas and drinking beer doing nothing to the game then this post is void)
Nymos Celtic Anarchy Black Reign Syndicate	Posted - 2006.09.09 22:51:00 - [25] i usually laugh at posts written like that, but unfortunately it's 100% true. i'm no expert on server architecture and database stuff, but man there was enough time to go through all kinds of logs and performance graphs and whatnot. there's not even a sticky saying "yea we know the servers are crapping out all day, but we're more concerned with the queue system at the coffee machine" (damn that was a funny joke by devs...). to those that say "do something else"... it's not that it's temporary for 3 hours. it's been a bit longer. and i'd like to kill war targets and not do something else right now. --
