they need to put the main station in jita which is arguably the busines capital of eve on a separate node

show me any other gameserver like counterstrike that is able to handle 500 players on a single server.

Tribes 2. Not that it counts of course since online FPS is a bit different than online chess-esque MMO.

Nice to see Eve become steadily worse since Dragon with little or no interest from the devs. First the south dies, now Jita can't even log me in. Truely awful.

The sytem is but I think he was talking about the most popular station. A node just for a station? It's so crazy it just might work!

sit down for a fun day of gaming on a Sunday, no wife or kids around..
nothing like staring at a blank screen...
sad thing I've seen this in so many (now defunct) online games, "let's add these doodads", "oh wait let's add more doodads, even though none of the previous one's are working"..
let's see nerf BM copying to stop lag , done, it's worse..
let's nerf them altogether then , oh wait nerfing them already has done NOTHING, but we'll disregard that..
forget Kali, forget the nerfing, just fix the damn game...

14 minutes till training finishes and so far it has taken me 20 miutes to just get to number 125 in the queue for jita

And last night, I gave up my nice standing and LPs with the Cal Navy agent in Kaunokka, and hauled all my junk home. No sense in doing missions when the hardware routinely prevents you from completing them.

oh it's even better when you get into a fight in a BS against 4 other ships, yes 4 small ships (inty's) way out in 0.0, they are doing moderate damage, nothing you cannot sustain for a long while but your shield is weakening a bit, your buddies are only a ways away and coming to your aid, then massive lag, everything slows, your shield boost is draining your cap, you can't turn it off, you can't move, you can't retarget your reloaded missile slots, then crash..
you log back in as fast as you can (minutes of course) only to find you are in a station, your multi million dollar ship died, your pod died, all your nice equipment is gone, you have 54kb error report, now you get to go to Jita and buy new equipment, oh wait Jita crashed while u are there and you are 500+ in line..
extra pack of smokes per month or play Eve? I know which is less stressful..
I wonder what's on TV?

Better yet change tax to market density tax so that the cost of putting up a sell order is higher in Jita or its constellation than it is somewhere vastly less populated.
