Providing news both in and out of game, all sorts of content some you've seen before and some new and much much more. But we aim to do more then what you have come to expect from such sites. Eve-Live will be tied into the Chribba empire of websites becoming a major hub for the most popular and useful websites you currently use. www.Eve-Files.com - THE place to store your Eve online content just recently upgraded AGAIN. www.Eve-Search.com - THE only fully working search engine for the Eve-Online forums. www.Podbase.com - THE public and free killboard soon to be updated. Those and more all tied together with news, tools, forums and so many more ideas to come. Currently the site is still in development and we have decided its time to bring in the help we need for when the site is running. We are looking for content writers. We need articles, news stories both in game and out, we need guides, tutorials, anything that you think should be on the site. If you think you could be apart of this we would like to hear from you. You can start by mailing us at content(at)evelocal.com with some quick information about yourself and what you think you could do. We would also like to hear what you would like to see at Eve-Live. We have loads of ideas but it will take time to bring them all online. So call out for what you want and we can have a better idea of what to work on first. Thank you. The Eve-Live team.

My one and only request would be to add an ships and modules database similar to the much missed one on eve-i.( If there is one around I apologize as Ive never ever seen one since. ) What I loved about that was it graphically let you see all similar modules and specs at once. ie the humble 1MN AB - you could see the differences immediately between T1, named, T2, officer, deadspace and now cosmos - all on one chart at once. But Ill definitely be keeping an eye open for this new project.

There are plenty of databases around but non really compare to the original eve-i version so we want to try and make it just as easy to compare mods as that was. It all rests on the skills of Chribba to do however .

I personally spent a lot of hours setting all that up using the frontend interface for eve-i and was well worth the effort. Whilst i think the greatest problem fansites have now is establishing a community who use it, I wish you well in your project!

Given enough time and patience you can just about eliminate them. The AdSense administration pages from Google will allow you to block an advertiser's URL from your sites. It takes a few hours to have an effect, and since there are so many it's a bit of an uphill climb, but possible.

Also, the ability to allow users to place comments under them would be nice - I don't know if you are familiar with thottbot.com, which is the WoW version of this, but it is really a useful tool. A ship fitter that allows you to save loadouts online would be cool as well - maybe allow users to login, and then it would display their 'favorite' loadouts that could be made viewable to others as well. Of course, the killboard is very cool - but it looks like you are working on that already. :) Another thing I haven't seen online very much is skill pathing / planners - maybe allow users to set up skill training plans viewable by others, or even allow players to upload their XML character data, allowing them to 'view' their character online. I think it would be hot to be able to click a character's name on a killboard, and have it bring up their skills, their kill records, and any of their favorite loadouts they chose to make public - of course good players would not choose to make their current loadouts public, so they could not be researched and countered by their enemies. Still, it would be hot, and it would allow for some user-created content (i.e. 'this is my favorite megathron setup, and this is the skill plan you should follow to make it really sexy' almost like a mini user-created guide) Anyway - I'm a new player, and to be honest, I haven't been really impressed with the EVE fansites I've checked out. I'd really like to see a definitive, one-stop-shop for all things EVE - from NPC data to guides, to a killboard to fan fiction to in-game news and game development news. ________

I've bought this char for 2b on the EVE forums. I've told that to you before. It wasn't months after I owned it that I learned that the player who sold the char for ISK to me seem to have bought it from ebay (or so I am told). I think I should petition you for continously trolling.

Maybe it would allow you to input p/h costs of reaction components and POS fuel to do some calculations
