Took me an hour to two hours to dl and install but i've been really pleased so far....
Well done team...
Stick on concentrating on "space" stuff and im sure your lost subscribers will be back soon enough... |

Just visiting the forums to say thank you. The UI scaling and the font is a huge improvement, or maybe a major reduction in frustration, either way, it's good. Let the whiners whine. Stay this course. Thanks. |

As a hater of CCP, I have to bow my head to this update.
Amazing patch, lots of new stuff to look forward to, lots of shiny stuff to look at.
Just bringing trails back, and the new cyno effects are enough for me to offer head. More importantly server stability, which has been steadily improving over the last 6months has not been gimped by this patch(afaik), something that has happened previously, with the 2 steps forward 3 steps back approach.
Winter is not the season of discontent.

I wouldn't go that far. I still lean towards Apocrypha.. but definitely best since that one.
The immersion sensation added by all the 'little' things piling on top of one another makes this expansion epic, without some really big 'new feature'. The guns graphicly missing, shader/texture improvements, backgrounds, trails, new sound effects, fonts (still on fence personally there). The dessie/hybrid changes, ship velocity/agilty buffs, can't comment on the T3s as I have not flown.. but all the T3 are pleasing to the eye in that reguard.
Top notch upgrade to the immersion feeling by the 'little' things done n fixed.
I think the PI changes will add layers and elements to the game that PI should have added a long time ago, when it first arrived at Tyrannis.. market carnage, player uncertainity and discomfort, lust for planetary control, and an ability to harm groups larger than yours without the need to hit them directly. Some people just don't get how very, very...very important alliance transport/supply logistics are.

Did you guys add the View body button to the portrait in this or is it just the first time I noticed it?
Oh, on that note, one of my agents had green skin but I thought it might just be some new alien race. |
