So, what, inside of 3 weeks before the next patch right? Yet not a peep or anything about the next T3 dessie that I can find.
Is it done yet? When can we start testing it on Sisi so that there is at least a small glimmer of hope that any feedback given would be read in time and that the same feedback might even have time to be considered before pushing the ship to TQ?
"The other 3 tactical destroyers will follow in upcoming releases. Read more about this new ship (Confessor) in an upcoming dev blog." DevBlog: Coming to EVE Online in the Rhea release on December 9th
Of course we never did get that promised devblog about the confessor, or a few other things mentioned in that devblog either.
And seeing how there is no mention of a new T3 dessie in the "Coming with Proteus", did they just stealth delay it or maybe they haven't even got it ready enough to announce? |

Wait, what? Is this the same CCP you are talking about? Are they in fact waiting until they finish a ship before they put it out for testing? Its not like they didn't give this much time to take care of the Confessor... I honestly don't know why they don't have all of them mostly done already instead of waiting until the release window before they are out to seemingly start working on them. You know, don't put yourself in a panic-ed rush if you don't need to and can easily avoid it.
Also, very keen of them to put a little snippet about not actually delivering on their "every 6 weeks the next dessie will come out" promise they made somewhere in the forums in one of the threadnaughts in the Proteus Theme Music section of the devblog. Now those Gallente pilots will be really upset having to wait 24 months after the Amarr got theirs.

Xercodo wrote:Guys, devs NEVER promise everything because development schedules and timelines are always fluid.
So anyone that claims the devs have promised anything will be written off as bullshit.
The only thing they'll promise to do is "look in to it" and that doesn't imply they have to have a positive outcome when they do. So kinda like accepting feedback for things. You know, where they start a thread asking for feedback and then completely ignore the entire thread, never responding if only to answer questions that have already been answered 100x over.

Ok. You mean another "I expected CCP to do their job" thread? Guess accountability counts as whining now. Please grow up and if you don't have anything to say relating to the thread keep it to yourself. But this is the internet, so you probably don't care anyways.
Seeing how their idea of clear and obvious communication was to put a little snippet about not actually delivering in the Proteus Theme Music section of the devblog, because I'm really concerned and overly excited about getting new menu theme music on a screen I only see for a couple of seconds.

That, and one would think they would at the very least theory craft them all at the same time, you know, to kinda balance them against each other instead of completing each one before starting on the next. So if a direction or line of thought changes by the time we get to the 3rd ship, how are the last 2 ships going to fit with the first 2?
Are the devs at CCP really so taxed and busy they can't just finish these ships and at least put them out for testing and feedback? I mean heck, the confessor is still broken with the mode switching buttons where you they don't show up to begin with unless you undock from a station. |
