The questions are best put this way, IMHO: Which fitting clears the sites the fastest? Which fitting is the easiest to use? Cheapest? Most versatile? Best in case of PVP? Etc.
Sometimes it's really good to have vampires. I ran into a fellow with some NOS fitted the other day who survived a drop because he could NOS enough to keep his rep running. Without the NOS he would have gone down.
Yeah, well, it's just like my-áopinion, man.

If you have rats in range to keep nos on them, then it's maybe better to fit something that isn't cap regen (especially since you don't need smartbombs all the time), but it seems like you could still use some rechargers when dealing with BSs on their orbit, for example.
But maybe it's better to keep some smaller rats nearby and nos them (can you do that indefinitely anymore?), depending on site compositions an all. |

my cap capacity is almost 12k, sleeper BS cap is 3k ... i would have to be on less than 25% of cap to drain anything from them so to your question ... no, there is no point of having nosteratu on paladin at all ... because when i get to cap level where i can drain them which is less than 25% i would alredy be dead since i would be under cap regen peak |

I do believe NOS mechanics were changed to %cap remaining rather than #cap remaining quite a while ago.
So you wouldn't need to be under 3k, just under his cap percentage. |
