Does anyone have a DOMI setup for low sec mining.
Lots of Miner2's and Drones, but what in the med and low slots??

I would not fit miner II's in low sec, just use mining drone II's or harvestors. Save the mining lasers for 0.0

I think miner II's would be fine depending upon your skills. A good Domi pilot can take on lvl 4 missions with nothing but his drones and good tanking skills. If you have good drones skills then you don't need much else in high's except maybe nos.
Your mid and low slots depend upon whether you are shield or armor tanking. If you are armor tanking, I would suggest a lot of caps in mid slots, and armor repairers (1 large and one medium seem to be common) and then named hardners for rats in area. Keep in mind that .0 is dangerious and you might want to alter the setup for tanking anything that might come by. Best to mine in a group, that way you can optimize your mining rather than defenses.
Shield tanking I would suggest some diagnostics in the low slots and maybe some stabbers as well, nothing worse than not being able to warp out from some pvp'er. Mid slots should be geared for shield tanking.
This is a rough idea, I'm sure there are better setups. A lot of it depends upon your skills as well.
The dommi has versitility with it's drones so that gives you an advantage, if you are tanking a rat and then want to go and retrieve your hauler, pull in your mining drones and send out your t2 combat drones to take them out. With the right drone and tanking skills, you can easily take on the rats in .0, just maybe not the pvp'ers. Good luck. |

No offense to the second and third posters, but please stick to topics you're knowledgable in.
Mining Domi:
Highs:
6x Miner IIs
(can also drop one of these for a tractor beam and haul your can with you while you go from asteroid to asteroid)
Mids:
5x Cap Rechargers
(or drop one for a 100mn AB to get to the next asteroid a bit faster)
Lows:
1x LAR
4x Hardeners (NPC specific, of course)
2x CPR
The above setup works great in 0.0, so low-sec should be dead easy. You could probably even drop two of the hardener and go with WCS if player pirates are a problem in your system.
