I have been having the same problem with CTD's. I have been in touch with the GMs about this and they have tried to offer the same advice which is posted here already.
I have tried everything on this forum and more and still cannot find the answer 
I also tried windowed mode but was rather pi##ed off that I were paying for a game which I love, on a really nice monitor, at max settings and couldnt enjoy the full mode. However, I shall try to adapt to see if it works for a week or so. Although I CTD about once every 1-2 hours without fail I shall monitor it for a week.
I just wish the tech guys would look into this ASAP, otherwise I will have to leave EVE for good as I cannot risk CTD at a gate in low sec with a 100 Mill ship.

Nvidia 6800 x 2 SLI

Ok, so I try playing this through windows mode which now for some reason gives me only 2 screen sizes available, so i go for the biggest on and its great coz i can push the window s bar up and out of sight basically giving me a normal screen. 
Problem.......
We are still CTD, 12k people on server, 4 in local, no-one at the gate, approaching gate going into warp and gone........ 
PC had only been on like 20 minutes.
I love the patch notes, saying that this will help with stability, HELLO! CAN WE HAVE SOME DEDICATION HERE THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED OR I WALK FOR ONE! and Im sure more will follow.

ok as far as I can remember:
AMD 64x2 4400+
MSI K8N SLI (awardBIOS v6.00PG)
1 GB RAM
Nvidia 6800LE x2 (SLI)
View Sonic Monitor VX912
250GB HD 150 still free
Realtek AC97 On board sound.
DLink DSL 200 modem
XP PRO SP2 all upto date
Anything I have forgotten?
P.S. I will be leaving the game if Kali (or whatever its called) does not fix this problem, there are too many of us to ignore with all too familar symptons.

Yes please get back to us with good or bad news re yoru new SC.
I dissabled the SC direct through Device Manager but still crashed.
Are you guys also having problems getting stuck between loading systems after youve jumped?
I read other threads in this section of the forum and just wanted to know if you guys are also suffering there aswell?

Forgot to add, I have reinstalled EVE before and got CTD within the forst hour of play...

Devs if you reading these posts please respond and atleast let us know that yoru looking into it??? 
(It seems the AMD 64x2 could be the problem)

Just downloaded this "AMD Dual-Core Optimizer"

try it and see if it works for you?

I would like to know if it is a DUAL CORE issue, surely the dev's have all the petitions on this exact CTD issue, maybe they could look at this dual core possibility and do some investigation!

I received a tip from support asking me to dissable SLI and see if that helps...........
As you are all aware this problem affects those of us which dont have SLI therefore I told him to look at this thread (exact forum address given) and told him to read it!
Also told him that we want a response from them ASAP
3 CTD in 3 hours this morning

If yoru using a AMD processor go to www.amd.com and take a look there.
I have the uptpdate drivers and it does nothing for me.
This is almost certainly an issue with hardware clashing with eve. I use my work PC which is totally crap and it runs eve jerky but with NO CTD what so ever.

In game hit escape, then I think its in the graphics options you see full screen / window mode. Take your pick.
I find window mode slows them down - or it might just be an illusion...

Ok I have ssem to have stabilised it much more. A GM asked me to run the Log Server and send it to them once I get a crash. Strange thing is that since I have used the log server its crashed once in 2 days of heavy play....
Now 10 mins ago I log on forgetting to start the Log Server and I CTD
Ok, so how do you find it....
Go to your EVE folder and its there "Log Server" once opened hit File/New Workspace, and start the game.
Let me know if this seems to help you guys.....

This is not really the right thread for your problem as were are experiencing CTD, and not this nasty freezing up that u refer to.

Guys have any of you done what I suggested about using the log server in your eve folder.
It has completely stopped all my CTD!!

I think its incredible that CCP have not even had the balls to come on this thread and just say "yes we know about it guys and were trying to fix it" or something to those lines. Infact going back to the post about what if EVE was a DVD, your emplying that your in a conversation with customer support.
ATM the customer support is non-existant.
