Ok, here's the problem:
I want to order a new hard drive, though I cannot take any time off work to stay at home 9am-5pm waiting for a courier (UK). I can't get it delivered to work, as all deliveries go to a certain office which is notoriously ****/shut when it comes to personal deliveries.
So, are there any companies out there that I can get a Western Digital 320GB SATA Hard Drive from, that deliver by Royal Mail (so I can go collect from my local depot). Not bothered whether it's SATA1/SATA2 8Mb/16MB, RE/RE2, etc. Just a 320GB WD SATA.
I normally go for Amazon, as they deliver by royal mail, but they have none in stock.
Overclockers.co.uk - Amtrak
Scan.co.uk - Citylink (notoriously ****e)
Dabs.co.uk - Citylink
Amazon.co.uk - Royal Mail
EBuyer.co.uk - Citylink/TNT
Any suggestions? I could as a last resort go into the shop in town, but it's again hit and miss and also a tad overpriced.

How close is your nearest Citylink depot? Many times I've ordered from ebuyer.co.uk and it's been delievered when I've been at work and I've popped down to the depot after work to pick the stuff up.
Not the best solution but it works for me.

ebuyer Say they ship via Royal Mail as well, not that I've ever noticed the option, so maybe a phonecall to order the item and ask them to ship it that way.
Anyway hope you get it sorted soon.

I was trying to buy an Athlon 64, and was specifically trying to get hold of a Winchester rather than an Newcastle (I'm a sad hardware geek in that respect). Ebuyer were the only people that claimed to have it in stock. That everybody else had sold out should have tipped me off. What ebuyer actually sold me was a Newcastle. Then they sent me another one as a replacement when I pointed out their mistake.
Getting a refund was a right pain. The whole experience was made worse by Initial Citylink, the courier company that doesn't even bother visiting your house before lying about being unable to deliver.
Sorry, that was a bit of a rant.

I've used citylink around a dozen times and have never had any problems.
