Last night I was ratting in an 0.4 system and encountered a 385k rat, much bigger than usual in this space. Anyway, I killed it, scooped the loot and was very pleased to sell one of the modules for 19.8 mln--how often can I expect this to happen?

Yeah, I found one of these the other day in 0.3 or 0.4 space. A "True Sansha" or something. $375K. Though my loot on it only sold for like $2.5M or so... Still, I wasn't complaining. Are they really rare spawns?

Rare in 0.4 yes, but in my 0.0 system, i have had two True Sanshas drop about 200mil in loot...

Happened to me too in a 0.4 system. Except for me it was a BPC for a cruiser and I made 80 mil off it. Not bad for a 2 week old player in a frigate. =)

Faction cruiser BPCs are very, very, very, very, very rare from belt NPCs. Saying that, I got a BS one

I found two Dread Gurista items within 3 days of each other ratting in 0.0. I spent the first one's profit on the last $45mil I needed to get a Raven, and luckily found the second one because a corp thief stole the Raven and I needed the money to afford a Scorpion.
Only a few days later did I find out how rare those drops really are, I thought everyone got at least one a week.

It ended up in the hands of a Pirate some time later

Last night I received my first brutal podding, which kinda put a damper on my mood. My spirits were quite high however after finding a tech 2 implant worth 26 million isk off a Dread Gurista in 0.5 space.
