Just how much money can you make with a freighter?
i was thinking of training for one and i was wondering if it would have a good financial gain at the end of it.

I know one of my friends estimates that he could make between 4 and 6b a month using it.

xcuse the noobness but how exactly do u "make" isk from those ships? I know it can haul lots of crap, but ive never looked into the hauling industry so how does it work?

There are many uses for freighters. Just having a freighter does not allow you to make money.
Many people use them in large scale manufacturing ops to haul mass amounts of mins or to haul finished ships/mods to market.
Also alot of people use them for trade runs, but of course that requires you to have a good profitable, high-volume trade route and enough spare isk to fill your freighter with whatever your trading.
I know people who make 1-3 billion isk per week doing various types of market trading with and without freighters.
The moral of the story is come up with a plan to get rich first, then decide if you need a freighter to make that plan work.
