I've got 5 high slots on my Vexor and it will only accept 4 150mm rail guns. It says:
"
You cannot fit the 150mm Railgun I because your ship doesn't have any turret slots
left for fitting, possibly because you have already filled your ship with turrets or that
the ship simply can not be fitted with turrets.
Turret slots represent how many weapons of a certain type can be fitted on a ship.
The current design is over a hundred years old, and is modular enough to allow for
a great leeway in the fitting of various weaponry."
It isnt a shortage of cpu or power and I'm at a loss as to explain why I can't mount the 5th 150mm railgun.
any ideas?

I had 8 high slots on my Cat and I could fill them all with 125mm rails.
I assumed the same with the Vexor.
I saw/see nothing in the specs on the Vexor that limit me to a certain number of weapon types in the high slots.

You can only fit as many turrets as there are turret hardpoints. The vexor has 5 high slots but only 4 turret hardpoints.

Just got in from work so not in-game at the mo' so don't quote me , but i'm 99.9% certain that the Vexor - while having 5 High Slots only has 4 Turret hardpoints , the 5th slot is a utility slot to fit something else , usually Nos ( Nosferatu ) or anything else you deem usable/useful.
Only 99.9% certain because I don't fly too many Vexors

ok my screwup.
It's only got 4 turret hardpoints.
I did see some weapon layouts that other people said they used and one said specifically that he had mounted 5 150mm railguns.
now I gotta figure out what would be good in that 5th slot.

Hi slots: As many nosses as you can
Med slots: AB, Scram, Web or similiar stuff
Low slots: Tank
Best PVP fit for Vexor :) Or atleast one of them.

You didn't look very hard then. It says turret hardpoints right by hislots.
