What happened was i streched out my overview while mining, to see all the roids i wanted to mine and to make it easier to see rats. I also had my drone overview open. But i decided to join a gang to mine and when i did, there was no room on the overview for the gang overview so it pushed the drone overview and made it get "stuck"

Easy solution: clear your cache (Settings folder).
Tough one: rename settings folder, log in, check it, log out, move one file from backed up folder back to Settings.... rinse and repeat.

I have the exact same problem with my gang window. I cleared everything in cache but settings, prefs, and portraits. Guess its time to try moving settings.

Ahh, yes. I've had this exact same issue about a month ago. I gave up with it eventually and completely cleaned out all of the cache directories. Even the settings. So now i keep a set of the settings cache zipped up somewhere just in case of UI bugs. This way I don't have to reset everything when things go awry. == Was, and forever will be confused. |

Yep. Clearning the settings folder fixed it for me. Messed up by insta folders, but I can now use my drones.

I have had the exact same problem..
Very annoying, and i was determined to solve it without doing an un-install, re-install..
Basically the file i keep is the BM folder file, it took some finding but i eventually did..
The file that holds you BM folders (if you use a default installation) is:
C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\cache\Settings\char_*******.dat
The stars are the number of your character, to find this number capture your own portrait then look in the:
C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\capture\Portraits
folder, find your picture and make a note of the number.
make a regular backup of this file, then if things screw up just delete (or rename) the cache folder, restart eve and the folder will be recreated. Simply copy the backed up char_******.dat file back to its origonal location.
the downside of this is that everything is reset, such as your custom overview settings and the graphics etc... But i have found this method has helped me loads in the past, and saved me re-installing eve!
Hope this helps
