While on the topic of music... Is there a way to place your own music in the game? I would love to rock out to something hardcore while doing lvl 1 missions. *I'm a n00b. Just downloaded the game 2 days ago and LOVE it.*

My favorite is one that is no longer in the current build.
I simply know it as Ambient001
Ambient001.mp3
It was the music from the character selection screen in the Castor build and earlier.

Is it possible to listen to the songs out of game, im one of those players who plays with the sound off but I would like to listen to the music from time to time.

Good call Serj, mine is also My Other Residency.
It's such a nice dreamy, spacey song. Perfect for EVE. I always try to do some quiet travelling when that tune comes on and I just sit back, relax, and get the shiveries, everytime.

Ok it seems like everyone is allowing themselves more than one, so I shall give my top three.
1) I saw your ship
2) In the depths of space
3) My other residency
Minmatar deadspace music is cool too, particularly track 4.
BTW, Ambient001 is the one that brings up the feeling of Eve most tangibly for me. It was the first thing that presented itself to me with the login screen all those years ago. Amazing nostalgia, would like to hear it again in Eve.

Me, too! I think the musical pieces in Eve are great, but Below the Asteroids was so good I added it to my playlist outside of Eve (and my iPod, subsequently).
