I found this game 4 months ago...i wish i had found it earlier. When i think of the 2 years i gave to that godforsaken piece of &*^%%^$&^ game called Lineage 2....i wanna kill myself. But behold my sould was saved. TY CCP

I would like to also say thank you to CCP for such an excellent game.
A few positives I really like about eve,
*The client is a free download.
*All expansions, patches, etc, have been free.
*Contrary to what a lot of people say, I believe they have good support for there product, there constantly trying to make it better and they do listen to the community, even though they don't respond and answer every little question, or show it every second of the day.
*The game is highly original, and requires lots of thought, and has a steep learning curve.
*Subscription fees are reasonable, cheaper then a lot of MMO's.
*PvPer in this game is beyond brilliant.
*Most of the eve community is fantastic.
There's heaps more, add to the list if you like :)

I've got to say this is just about the perfect game for me.
Prior to EVE my attention span on any other game, be it online / PC based / Console was at most around 2 weeks....
19 months and counting for EVE...

having played pretty much every new MMOG since about 2000, i can honestly say that EVE is the most impressive, warts & all.

I've had 7 accounts (serially, not simultaneously) and every fresh start is a wonderful experience. I think that CCP has done a wonderful job of balancing the needs of veterans and new players alike-- they show more care and attention to detail in the crafting of their game than anyone else I have seen.
My university's online course resource program has been buggy for 3 years and still has not been fully implemented, and I have not been able to use my university email account in all that time. My state's Bureau of Motor Vehicles upgraded its system and spent at least a month unable to process license reinstatements, and still says it will be a full calendar year before they are sure that their record system survived intact. And I log onto Eve, secure in the knowledge that whatever may happen with the server, it will be just a few minutes until things are better and it won't wind up with me failing a class or in jail due to a database error.
CCP 4TW!

I wish I could have found this earlier. Not at release time, I've heard the stories. But definetly earlier. Damn you, Planetside/Silk Road/MMOs I beta'd for ruining all my time I could have spent here ;.;
