Hi, I'm going to start doing level 4 missions with my Typhoon and I'm currently using this setup for lvl 3 missions:
High: 4x Cruise Launchers 4x Dual 650mm AC
Med: 1x Target Painter 3x Cap Rechargers
Low: 2x Large Armor Rep 3x Hardeners 1x Damage Control 1x Cap Relay
Will these setup be able to do all lvl 4 missions or are there a better setup suited for lvl 4's`?

Y not use artillery? For missions ive found artillery more usefull than AC. OFC for pvp switch to AC..

Phoon is the most skill intensive battleship in the game at the moment, but you'll have found such statements in the other phoon threads already. Some are linked in the sticky and the search points you towards those too.
3 cap rechargers? Sometimes a NOS, a cap battery and/or a cap booster show better effects. You are using AC, so you're nearly or already in NOS range.
The ~1935 [RMR] phoon threads point at a mix of 1xLAR and 1xMAR.
You might think about replacing one or two of the tanking mods with damage mods and/or energized membranes.
With the AC+cm mix, you wont be able to break the tank of the vengeance boss and you wont catch him/her neither as you got no speed in form of AB in your setup.
Drones and Torps have a range of about 60km with okay range skills, matching the poor lock range nearly perfectly. --*=*=*--

That looks pretty good tbh. But for lvl 4s I'd switch to dual 425mms and siege launchers as you're going to be fighting BS rats. I also like to use an AB and a webber to keep in AC range and a Nos to feed the tank and because a 4th gun on a phoon looks ugly imho.

Some points: -2 large reppers = not possible to sustain them, especially with only 4 cap modules, so extra repper is only good for the burst damage, sometimes. -damage control = oh crap! module, useful in the worst scenarios, and only slightly useful otherwise. -target painter = nominally useful for drones/cruise missiles.
My experience with the phoon leads me to think that torpedoes and drones do just about all the work, even with minimal torp and drone skills (silly minmatar gun skills). With that in mind, i just use torpedoes because of the damage output against BC and BS and the fact that they dont get shot down by defenders. Often i'll skip the autocannons in favor of smartbombs for some of the frigates or nosferatu for the extra cap.
so, here is what i like to use: High: 4x Siege 2x Smartbomb 2x 800mm repeating arty
Mid: 1x Afterburner 3x cap Recharger
Low: 1x LAR II 3x hardener 1x 1600mm plate 2x CPR
I love worlds collide, I hardly have to use the repairer becuase i get my tranverse high enough to avoid almost all the fire from serpentis. THen i let the Heavy drones and Torpedoes to the work. |

My "standard" level 4 fitting:
4x siege II 4x Dual 425mm 'Scout' AC
1 or 2x PAWNAGE target painter 1x Fleeting web 0 or 1x tracking comp II 1x Medium Electrochem Cap booster
2x BCU II 1 or 2 x EANMII 1x IFFA DCU 1 or 2 x NPC specific Hardners 1x LAR II
5x Heavy Drones 5x Medium Drones
It works, it works exceptionally well for all except Angel Extravaganza, for which I pull out the Tempest and shield tank.
I did say it was my 'Standard' fitting though. If you have not already discovered this about running missions in Minmatar ships, you will soon enough running level 4's.
There is no one size fits all module setup.
For example, if you were going to do Duo of Death in a 'Phoon, you'd want cruise and 1200mm, not torps and dual 425's. For missions vs drones, you want a smartbomb and 3 425's (or better yet, leave the Typhoon at home and bring out the auto 'pest). It can be annoying, but I find in the end, experimenting with fittings that are mission specific is more entertaining than never changing a thing on a torp Raven. J.A.F.O.

Vengeance Typhoon:
4x siege II 3x dual 425 scout 1x Drone link augmentor
1x PWNAGE painter 1x Tracking comp II 1x fleeting web
2x BCU II 1x IFFA DCU 2x EANMII 1x Thermic II 1x LAR II
5x EM large drones 5x EM medium drones
Dreben (sp?) will go down before your torps are empty, maybe a quarter into your first reload, depending on skill. The AC's are for all the cruisers and battlecruisers you need to push through on the way there, and can easily smack a webbed and painted frig around.
Note: The sentries can be ignored, just move away from them and draw the fight to at least 85km out from the nearest one. Dreben's orbit will not bring him close enough to them at that distance to put your drones in danger.

i vary the config depending by mission
if i know i will face mostly close range BS i use siege + 425 or 650 but most of the time, for the majority of missions i prefer a cruise + 3 1200mm setup
ACs are not bad but they use sooooo much ammo that i try to avoid them.
in the mid slots generally i fit an AB to save a bit of time, sometimes i also fit TP or webber.
for lows as you i will drop a LAR, is not really necessary and with decent armor skills you should have not much troubles in most missions
generally i like to use at least 4 hards, sometimes even 5 (depending by enemies/mission) 3 hards on primary resist and 1 on secondary
also, whitout the lar, maybe you will be able to drop the cap relay for a damage mod or a cap recharger for an AB
for drones i use 5 heavy and 5 mid (as i think almost every phoon pilot :P)
