Wild Rho Amarr Imperial Shipment	Posted - 2006.09.18 10:00:00 - [33] Wanted to see what my first ever pilgrim could really handle so I sat cloaked near the mista gate watching a Mega, Raven and 2 ferox waiting for them to aggress on somthing. Eventually it happens and so I decloak hoping that between my nos and the sentry guns I can tank long with (with ecm knocking some of them out of the fight) to outlast them and get some juicy kills. It didn't take long until my cap vanished and I realised the bloody mega had 4 heavy nos of his own...uh oh. Anywho, thanks to my own nos and dual reps I'm just hanging in there with my armour dropping ever closer to structure so I try to warp to a nearby belt. Almost aligned....almost....armours dropping....yes..yes...YES..YES...NO! Pop! Bugger. WE ARE DYSLEXIC OF BORG. Refutance is systile. Your ass will be laminated. - Jennie Marlboro

At this point in our corp history RKK and so forth was a merc corp and we had very good relations to them. Region Tribute. We're ninja-mining in a system with a station. Suddenly RKK appears and attack this installation (reasons unknown), I'm at the station when this happens. While the battle roars outside I get convoed by RKK that one of our corpmates hasnt moved his ship in about an hour near a gate(it was very late), so I suspect he has fallen asleep. I call him and he has the ship full of ore but he managed to save himself and the ore. The battle ended that night in stalemate and a ceasfire. "I Will Drug You and Fluff You, through the permafrost"

Found a solo BS in a belt so took him on with 5 cruisers. I sat back and watched, only locked the guy and waited to see what happens. He was tanked against us so now 4 pods and me in belt. Sure enough, he opens fire on me so I run to the station. Sat waiting outside station for the others to de-agro and he warps in behind me.... Well, I web and scambled him and he cant go anywhere but because he shot at me first before I fired on him the station guns did my job for me due to agro timer. ---- God gave us a brain, he also gave us a voice. Shame some people have yet to connect them.

But then again, I've gotten away in my vaga from bigger fleets. I jump in a system and their all waiting for me, drones out everything. I think fine, I'll get away. Start warping away, screen freezes and I when I get to the gate I was warping to, I'm in my pod Usually a lot of mods blow up, this time I see in my killmail that they got my faction shield booster(Gistii small booster), faction warp scram (Dark blood, 28km) and my faction mwd (Serpentis). Oohwell, time for a new vagabond.

So figure, Ill go to a safespot and scan the gate. Then I notice a whole fleet on the gate, so its me thinking, warp in snipe a cruiser down and warp out. Seems they had a cloacked ship at my snipespot and instead of being on the gate they where right on top of me :( Lucky 5 of the 6 425mm railguns II got destroyed. -------- Bailian Moxtain: Quote: Who needs pride when there's isk to be made

Liam Fremen	Posted - 2006.09.18 11:57:00 - [42] Mhh, well if the circumstance that make everything crap can be outside the game, well.. yesterday night i just was in my dominix trying some fitting @ our pos... killed some belt, unlucky i decided to keep all the different fitting in the cargo bay, everything was nice, then... at the 5am with 3 1.4mill bs and other stuff i just fell asleep :) I wake up 1 hour leater in front of the pc with a shiny pod in front of me and the can was gone too :) well i had about half cargo of t2/named modules just for trying all the possible fittings lol...

Didn't find anything of value in 40+ cans. Activated Tractor Beam on the one remaining can, activated Autopilot. Can is at 1500m, open cargo, there is a VERY GOOD faction item in it !! I start dragging it to cargo bay, AutoPilot kicks in, I warp away.

I look at scanner. nothing in the blast radius. "ah, well, what can go wrong", I think. Fire smartbomb, rat goes to half armour. and at that moment, a ship warps in through the gate. and I realise at the kast moment that they've warped in and landed by pure fluke, on top of me. smartbomb goes off a second time. concorde drop the doughnuts, and come in firing. I laughed about it afterward, but talk about annoying fate at the time...

Undock to see war targets in rupture and huggin outside. I redock and fit out two racial minmy jammers and figure I can jam the huggin and kill the rupture, perfect plan right?!?! Well I undock, open up on the rupture, turn on my jammers, but the huggins missles are still comming in, great, jammers didn't work. 5 secs later i'm out of cap, guns turn off, can't kill the rupture, can't jam the huggin, dead brutix Aw well. I wanted to test it out on my corpmates. No problem right? Flew away from the station before testing but hey guess what? There was a F-Ing sentry gun 2K above me. Yeh so i Multi-Bombed the thing...and then.. Concord bent me over and had their way. No worries..redocked. Undocked in my caracal and pewpewpwned by Concord again... Realllllly gotta check that timer... So...take 2.. Cormorant..Smartbombs..Newbie Station..lots of Ibis... Kamikaze!!! Lot of ibis and pods go BOOM! Me go boom too..thanks to concord. Wait out the timer for concord... Undock in Caracal...Death by guy. Was all "WTF..no concord" Check kill rights tab and there he is. Lesson Learned: Just cause guy is in ibis doesnt mean he is noob. Dang that mega hurt ALOT. Sometimes the world needs to be kicked in the face to stop drooling on itself like a child.

Only to return to my original start point and realise that in my haste and desire not to be podded I'd not dragged the item into my cargo hold!. My worst would be down to spring cleaning. Having several hangers in different stations in one system. Deciding to clean out crap and tidy them all up. Reprocessing what I don't want where possible. One station not having reprocessing facilities and me being tired, I decide to trash everything that I don't want, to save hauling it. Thinking that I'd moved everything that I wanted to keep, but not noticing that not everything was visible. Use the select all and automtacally click OK when asked if I really wanted to trash the list of items not realising that it included 3 researched cruiser BPOs.

I get both of the BS to lock and fire on me, they cause no damage whatsoever to me... so, the thorax comes in and we kill the faction spawn... My ship approaches the can so I can see the loot, I hit open, and tell it to go off in aother direction while I'm scanning over the loot real quickly, I get told something so here I am looking at all the pretty loot... Well, you know how I told my ship to move? It didn't, it sat there on the can while the second BS just blew it to hell... I was yelled at by the other player like 5 seconds prior, ship aflame and unable to save my ship in time, as it popped. forgot something... "Oh well..." Slapped an ishkur together and resumed ratting in it.

Jump through a gate to find a BoB pilot ratting the gate spawn in an Ishtar. Decide that the Raven I'm flying can't make it to the gate before he kills me, so I try to warp out. Seconds later I'm scrambled and being Nossed with a cloud of drones around my ship. I lock him and start unleashing torps on him, and send my drones out too. I see he has very little shields left, and thanks ot the Bane torps and the Angels his armour starts to go down quite fast. Then he jams me with multiple jammers. My cap is starting to fail from the shield booster and the nossing (and the fact that my CEO nicked all my booster charges last night while we were 'plexing). Think to myself "Oh well, I can afford to lose it for a change, and I wqanted to go to empire tomorrow anyway" Ishtar warps. Apparently the mighty combination of 3 Valkyrie drones were enough to drive away a fearsome BoB pilot. The triple Angel BS spawn starts to agro me, and I get the hell out of Dodge! Turns out I loaded system first (2 gig ram ftw) and thus decloaked first. we had ships there already, 1 was a carrier that was the bait, but enemy was smart enough to not all shoot the carrier, at least not at first. At first I was fine, at full speed with mwd chasing down enemy ship, when suddenly im damped and lose lock...which makes me slow down.....add in the lag and suddenly im sitting still with mwd on, with two tech2 fitted BSes are shooting me. 2 salvos each, and zealot goes pop. HAC = shiney attention getting status symbol. MWD = the bling that makes it easy to see. decloaking before 17 others ships gets you called primary even faster. ah well. I started just after beta and had joined a corp that was hell bent on building everyone a Moa. This was back when a million isk was a lot of cash in the wallet. At the time, EVE was lucky to have 3000 people logged on at one time. We were mining in some belt, a system near Hulm if I recall and I was charged with security. I had just gotten Torpedo skills and game mechanics let you put a couple of torpedos in a standard missile launcher on a Rifter. Life was good then... So the little mining Op is policing up all the omber we could with our probes (No mining barges then) and had a guy with a hauler moving back and forth to the station, Lo and Behold, a couple of rats show up and I tell everyone in corp chat to watch this. Here was my chance to fire my fancy new torpedos. Now a days we don't think about such things as Splash Damage, but it was an issue back then. I guy could had to think twice about throwing missiles around a gate, out of fear of aggro'ing the gate guns and getting greased. There are no gates here so no problem, I let loose a torpedo, not taking account of how close the rats are to my corp mates and POW!. Rat dead in one hit... and some of my corp mates are in pods and all the ore that was floating has gone pfft! I was kicked out of the corp before I could get to the station... oh well Frustration, agravation and anger is just EVE's way of saying you are playing the game to the fullest

Engage it on the other side, but my Taranis only gets a shot or two off before the Rifter jumps back through the gate. I MWD to the gate, and at the same time as I get the "recent act of aggression" message, a hostile Rapier warps in... Scrambled, webbed and nossed. Ah well.

Yup locked wrong can concord came and helpfully pointed out with large guns that it would be a good idea to check can ownership before poping that can in highsec moving back to empire replace that HAC you just lost in 0.0 can be a bit of intresting change... Mind you response to the what you doing question in corp chat ltr that night was the source of much merriment the answer being replacing the second HAC in the past 48 hours... Oh well... ========= "I am not saying there should be capital punishment for stupidity, but why can`t we just take the safety labels off everything and let the problem fix its self

And got concorded for blasting my buddy with missles. I had spent so much time in 0.0 that I forgot about concord. I saw the warning message and I went, ah crap. Thankfully I was only in a T2 fitted kestrel. Could have been alot worse. ______ Another time I warped to a gate, saw a big camp and new instantly that I had screwed up. Got caught in the bubble and died so fast I didn't even get to count all the ships. _______ When IRON and NFC became enemies... I was in an NFC gang at the moment word came down to go hostile. 23 ships targeted me.
