Hi My problem is that after a while eve crashes into bluescreen. my specs are: IBM laptop pentium mobile 1,4 GhZ 256 DDR RAM ATI Radeon Mobile 7500 32 mb OS: Win XP
This is kinda annoying because my main comp recently "died" I really like the game and doesnt want to wait until I can get a new comp!

Hi Traquis Marman,
BSOD crashes often come from one of three sources:
- Problems with drivers. This can be the drivers for any of your hardware; video, audio, network etc.
- Hardware failure. One or more components in your computer is failing and this causes the BSOD. More often then others it is the RAM memory sticks in my experience.
- Overheating. If you have overclocked any of your components it might overheat. Overheating can cause permenent malfunctioning, a reeboot or a BSOD. Overheating can happen without you overclocking aswell.
If you read the text on the BSOD you can often get hints on what caused it. Write it down and post it here and someone might know what the issue is and provide you with a solution.
Good luck! _________________________________________________________

I have the same issue and this is a 100% eve related problem. This *only* happens in eve never when I'm using other software.

I'm sitting with a similar computer: an asus l3c laptop with ati mobility radeon 7500 card.
It frequently blue screens, especially when reading in game eve-mail.
Anyone got it working with similar computer configurations?
What is the possibilities of configuring eve as a work around?

Phase 31, what drivers are you using for video and audio?
The BSOD you are experiencing can be a result of incompatibilities between DirectX9 and your drivers. Are you playing any other DX9 games on your computer? _________________________________________________________

Thx Jehova, will look that up. From what I can read from the message its a non page fault area whatever that means. Then it says something about ati3dlag.dll that must be the graphics card right?

Yes, a page fault means that the memory has failed. ati3dlag.dll indicates that the error occured when your video driver was operating.
If I were you I'd try some other video drivers. In this thread Sedsiss speaks of some driver that works very good. _________________________________________________________
