Those interested in an answer can just bump it so it can be seen. I love the game, I dont want to trade my character & regret it later. I dont want to cross train, I believe strongly in your suggestions to specialize. I've just come to a crossroads. You dont need to say what you are going to do. Just give a tiny hint/answer....Yes, we have a plan for amarr, or no, amarr is fine. I think we as customers deserve it. Oveur, if you're reading, I'm begging you man, give us something, we know you want kali very secret and maybe you are going to do something to amarr in it. But answering with a yes or no and being done with it will be so helpful. You dont understand how much a relief it would be just to know what you are all thinking about the issue. 76 pages on that forum posted above, which means that you know we want a change. But all I'm asking for is a simple yes or no answer. Please Please Please. Again, all those that read this, pls dont flame. This is a geniune question, I'd appreciate it if this post was respected. There are plenty of other posts to flame in if you dont agree with my decision to ask. Thank you.

They cant say no, because the whine and the "I quit" posts would be endless. They cant say yes, because that would mean that all races start creating threads to boost their race. Also you are trying to make your issue seem more important than anyone's else because you constantly bump the thread to get many pages. "Wow, look at those 80 pages, that must be important"... no. The Amarr thread is a general chat thread now, and might be LESS important than many of the threads that are just 1-2 pages. Sure the race has problems, but so does minmatar. Im 100% certain that Tux has looked at the thread, and if he doesnt feel he wants to reply, then you have to accept that. You have to. No reply doesnt mean he doesnt care. It just means he wont fall for the "80 page bump trick" to force him to reply. Dont try to force the devs to reply, they wont do it. But you dont listen and will keep bumping it. Well... Did you check my spelling or grammer yet? Also, I assume they've read most of that post, its for people that wish to make comments to go and make them there, this post was for one purpose, and opportunity. You guys need to all chill and let the devs decide if they want to or not, you making fun of the thread or making irrational comments aren't going to change what i'm looking for. So shut up.

I play minmatar, which is the least played race in the game as I understand it. Basicly its kind of short of win-buttons (not counting the Vaga). :) So yeah, you are frustrated and want a reply, but what if the devs dont agree with you? You will not just accept that and be fine with it, and you know it. Neither would I... ive been whining ALOT about minmatar in Ships & Modules myself. It didnt do me any good, so ive tried to stop. I just try to trust that the devs are reading the threads that get attention, and try to leave it at that. I deserve an answer and I've been very patient over the last 3 years watching nerf after nerf and boost on other races upon boosts upon other races. Demanding an answer wouldn't be unreasonable in any other circumstance, however I am not demanding as you seem to believe. I am asking nicely after having posted endless ideas in the thread i linked. Its time for me to decide if I a) train non-amarr skills, b) trade my character for another racial character, c) Live with an inferior race or d) quit eve. Now me not knowning ccp's plans makes it hard to make a decision. As you can see i'm prepared with any answer they could posibly give. So you really do need to shut up on this issue. You assume too much and are too used to noobs posting stupid ideas or requests. I am only asking a very simple question, which you could compare to someone shopping at Target and asking if they plan on making their toy section better....not everyone in the store may know the answer, but I do have a right to ask, and do have a right to an answer. Target could respond by kicking me out of the store, but odds are they want to keep me as a customer and they will go out of their way to answer such a silly yet simple question. If CCP chooses to say nothing at all, then I will make a decision without the information I want. It makes it harder, but I will decide. It may shift the odds in one way or another, but oh well, ccp may not care. In the end, leave my thread be. You have nothing invested in the topic to care.

Amarr used to be overpowered 3 years ago but they are now balanced fine. We Minmatar have always been the weakest race but we whine less than you guys. Current race order (in PvP) is IMO: Gallente > Amarr > Caldari > Minmatar ...and once they nerf ECM, Amarr will be #1 again!

I use my amaar char for two things PVE kills Blood raiders nicely and POS sieging in a dread. Normally when i wanna join a pvp gang I say to myself asault frig mmm gotta be ishkur or wolf Inerceptor Crow Taranis or Claw, EW cruiser celestes BB or vexor ( i wouldn't use amarr cos they use tracking disruptors and ecm and damping is much more general purpose and minny mmmm no thanx. Hacs choice would be sacrilige, zealot, ishtar, vaga. Inerdictor sabre deffo. Battle ship Geddon for sniping or close range, sniping Raven (with interdictor support) Sniping tempest or AC close range. Domi for a Tank and scorp for jamming. Recon and force recon amarr have pretty sweet ships i think minny ones don't get used a lot. Other classes i don't know much about and cba to type much more. I will say this though Ammar are fine if you have support I find that you can roam around solo alot better with other races of ships. Anway to sum up I do feel amarr and minny need looking at in some ship classes but not a blanket boost to the whole race. I would also agree with the op that it would be nice to know where i'm am going with my amaar char because i've faithfully stuck to specialisation and as in evolution all the specialist animals are always hit harder than the more adaptable ones. Tbh the ammar char is deffo the least adaptable after specilization and i use him least. This is my experience oc and you only find out when you fly all races in all classes. Oh my amarr pilot is my cap ship pilot so i can't really comment on cap ships. Jeez did i write that much? LOL

There are lots of really great ships out there, I dont want to see these ships get nerfed, but right now CCP is looking at nerfing the only line of good ships we have (arby/curse/pilgrim) and not because of amarr, because of damn caldari pilots still being uber. I dont give a crap if caldari use oversized NOS to kill interceptors/AF's/HAC's... Our Curse kills shields and out noses almost any NOS ship, and that really hasnt given us the edge in PvP, only a decent solo PvP ship. What I want to see is amarr getting changed.... A LOT... I dont want us to be more DPS, or more med slots spacifically, or just a generic change like switching EM and thermal damage, I want to see every aspect of amarr considered. I want to hear what the devs think amarr is for (besides storyline and symetry). Then I want to see our ships live up to their legacy. Recruitment

Why are there no drone ships better than a Domi, when all the other weapon styles have faction ships?! Why can't my Tempest tank?! Why are Typhoons too slow?! Why can't Amarr sustain as much DPS as the other races?! Why are Sensor Boosters so overpowered, with range AND locking bonuses?! Why can't Caldari........er.......well, do whatever it is Caldari can't do! A game with so many ships, weapons, modules and implants takes alot of balancing, and the balance changes by no small degrees every single change they make. Is it any surprise that the games not entirely balanced properly? No. I'm sure the Devs are working on it as we speak, and every single content patch they release they tweak something to try and fix it. In the mean time, its probably best to not forum bait. I mean, if I was a Dev being emotionally blackmailed every few minutes by someone threatening to quit, I'd probably ignore it and get on with something more interesting
