What about a Drone to help Me get Loot From Mission " a Tractor Drone " it work by bring the loot to you so it will make mission farster to play

A drone that simply grabs loot cans contents and brings it back to your ship, like a mining drone, would be nice

Anything will do just fine: - med/large tractor beams (they are in game just not seeded/listed: 40/60 km ranges) - light(/medium/heavy) towing drones: can grab onto 1(/3/5) container(s), bring them back near your ship, go back get more if any in range __ Always question everything. Including yourself. |

if this was introduced you would have to balance it in the same way as tractor beams, meaning the drones would have to be on a range basis, similiar to the tractor beams, or pilots would be shouting nerf.

I suggest ann Anti-missle drones. Galente cruisers defensless they dont have missle Hi-slots.

so: 1) yeah to the looting drones. from an RP view it should be a lot easier to design looting drones than combat drones. and judging from their behaviour, the manufacturer didnt do too well with the combat drones 2)please seed the larger tractor beams and give em an autoloot option.
but looting drones would be coolest. and their range should be determined by drone control range. simple. -- Only you can save MMORPGS - Stop whining today! |

I like the idea of loot drones, but I remember reading someplace that CCP made a decision long ago to either allow high-slot tractoring or drone tractoring, but not both, and they went with the high-slot module. This might be a futile argument.
But boy, would it ever be handy. Another nos on the setup, and a friendly drone pulling in cans from farther away than a tractor does. I'd pay a million isk each for those things.

What about fixing the drones we allready got before we make new ones eh?
and before these drones we need other features slash fixes as;
hotkeys (for launcing, attacking, orbit back, back to bay etc), set next target (closes to mother, etc), the info on drones displayed with bonus, drone navigation skill and module working right (no, it still doesnt, even after bug-reports), warping after target or not (fighters), fighters warping after mother after disconnect, drones changes target if they have to fly like 50km (heavy drones), drones still fly into eachother, it still lags when drones get back into bay for all drones (mostly light drones)(and when releasing fighters),
I could keep on, but its just a bloddy waiste of time as CCP knows this, but they keep on working on turrents and launchers.

that could be a good idea , have tractor drones grab the loot and free up a high slot. Create a new ship class for "salvage oprtations" for them too. Atm tho Id be happy with repair drones that wont get ee gloabaly aggroed when used to repair other ships...current situation with them brings along this thought of no good deed goes unpunished.
