My pos can mine cobalt and silicates. Will this be worth anything?
Also interested in a trade-deal on it.

Go to Jita and check the price people are buying the material for. I dont think the Silicates will get you much but not sure about the Cobalt

Ideally you'd be looking for a Cadmium moon and a Hydrocarbon moon nearby.
Then you could react (simple) the Cobalt and Cadmium to make Crystalite Alloy, and react (simple) the Hydrocarbons and Silicates to make Carbon Polymers.
You'd then react (complex) the Crystalite Alloy and Carbon Polymers together and get Crystaline Carbonite.

would need at least 2 towers for that, better to find a moon that can do one basic reaction alone and buy the other reaction so you only have to maintain one tower.

But unless the people he's buying the other reaction from are stupid, it will actually cost him more than the maintenance costs of the tower able to produce it...

No, basic reactions are fairly cheap. I'm making hydrocarbons and buying crystallite alloy to make crystalline carbonide. The pos fuel costs about 40 mill/week, another 26 mill for the alloy at 1500/unit and the carbonite sells for about 120 mill/week.
