Did you know you could create a character which has Caldari Frigate 4 or with Rockets Lvl 3 and Missile Launcher Op Level 3. Perfect for killing those macro miners. A Science/Research Alt which can have 24 Intelligence, 18 Memory (training advanced skills to level 4) without any implants.
Check out Coldfront's Character Generation Simulator. You can plan your new character without having to use the ingame Character generator. It usually takes 9 hours to delete a character you created. With this tool you can create as many alts and then go ingame and create your new alt quickly. You won't regret creating a character.

personally, i think the new bloodlines are overpowered...common in a few months u could have a character with a ase of 24 perception..+5 implanmts put that at 29 perception...that doesnt sound right at all.

For Rockets Level and Missile Launcher Op 3 Character, this is what you need pick the following custom route:
Caldari->Civire->Mercnaries->State War Academy->Gunnery->Rocketry->Improved Rocketry
With this you need up with the following skills
Caldari Frigate 1
Small Hybrid Turret 1
Missile Launcher Operation3
Electronics2
Rockets3
Gunnery1
Targeting1
Try it out and check your attributes as well here. Play around you may might find something better than this as well

That page doesn't render properly in IE7 beta 3.
After selecting race the window won't resize vertically to show the next level of options as you can see in this screenshot.

I was utterly amazed when just messing around I made a guy w/science 5 and something (industry maybe?) at lvl 3 for 250k sps. He's not really for playing, just market checking in a different region, but I was surprised.

This post is misleading.
The perfect character creation would involve EVE using Morrowind's character creator so that we can all not look like the same 2 dozen people.

Bingo! I've created 5 characters and timed out in portrait creation on at least 3 of them, if not all!  Plus OOG portrait creation would be better than the "swap character portraits" option to change/update char. portraits. I have a char that needs a new portrait but I have no open char slots on that account. 
This Character tool looks nice, but I like the best possible route" feature of Trak Crankers Start Character Tool.

There's a bug with the "spaceship command" skill.
It doesn't display at all, and when it does display at all (Brutor + Brutors + Republic Military School + Operations + Command + Captain Training) it displays as "Level 1" instead of what it should be.
Hint: you get L1 from the start, you get +1 somehwre in military schools (can't recall where), brutors get another one instead of iron will somewhere for a grand total of L3.

You shouldn't even be using IE. Get the one true browser.
Besides IE has yet another 0-day exploit that you can get hacked by.

Yep. If you choose the following trail:
Gallente + Jin-Mei + Jing Ko Caste + Federal Navy Academy + Gunnery + Advanced Hybrid Weaponry + Hybrid Weapons
Gunnery 5, Small Hybrid Turret Level 3 and a bunch of other skills at level 1. I also managed to get a good balance on my attributes. Now that Charisma is actually used for something I dont feel bad if I have slightly higher charisma

Fixed, but only partially :)
For instance: Brutor + Brutors + Republic Military School + Operations + Command + Captain Training
...that should give you Spaceship Command L3 not just L2, and no Iron Will L1 ;)
(test it to be 100% sure)
