And remove the autopilot or setting a destination. Let me control my ship by mouse, and have powerups I run across, and let me instantly respawn should someone hax and kill me. Seriously though. POSs are a vital part of the game. Without them there would be no sovereignty on systems, it'd just be a free for all shoot the station to take it over every day. People would only mine in systems with a station. All research and production would have to be done in empire. Now one might think you're saying this because of lag around POSs and the difficulty of assaulting systems. But I suspect not. What I think you're saying is - OMG it's not fair, people can warp to POSs and be safe, people can't get ganked docking/undocking from one. It's not fair when the enemy has carriers and we don't. I know what you do in the game, you're very accomplished gankers, and you've operated near my space in the past, I don't expect you to remember fighting us, but I remember fighting you guys with my alt, since it was fun. You won, unfortunately, although there was one particular fight where I think every battleship was in structure... But going back to your original post... how about remove stabbed up ECM ravens. Remove interdictors. Remove precision torps/cruise. That's the tools of your trade, and I can make a hell of a lot better an arguement to remove those things than you can with POSs and carriers.(cept interdictors, I like em).

I can't fit stabs on them Pos do represent all the best parts of the game crammed into one - Carebearing, Camping, Power Imbalance, and Lag - who the hell would want to get rid of them? Fear is the mind-killer.
