A summary of what it says would be nice. My internet connection lately decided that it didn't like allowing me to d/l at 40-800k/s, so now it caps at 40-45k/s, and Adelphia's --> <-- close to getting a long, ****ed off phone call.

hehehehe i just watched it and have to say, the VOIP looks impressive Kali 4tw definately :)
My fanboi has been reborn in watching this, loving the anti-WoW and anti-SOE comments made me laugh out loud.

I've only been listening to this horribly amateuristic internet radio show for several minutes and I'm ready to shove a hot soddering iron through my ear drums. I'm sitting at work right now with their annoying prepubescent voices playing in the background waiting for the interview with the CCP development team regarding Kali and every passing moment, the idea of shoving my face through the concrete wall in front of me, becomes increasingly more appealing. Who listens to this crap on such a regular basis that they have managed to produce 33 episodes so far? Are there people out there who listen to this crap and think, "OMFG, this **** is better than a ****job on a supermarket pony ride. Yeehaw!"
I'm going to go grab a soddering iron off my workbench now and end my life. Thanks Kaiu!

They have enough listeners/viewers to be in the top10 media/entertainment podcasts on Itunes UK as well as highly rated on the US/intl charts
But, each entitled to thier own opinions i guess
The humour and 'wit' is thier j/k'y answer to all the dry, boring reading of the weekly mmo news podcasts out that are out there atm...

Well the info minus the humour and the Dev-worship can pretty much be summed up as…
- quick mention of contracts, saying how they want it to change the way corporations and tasks / duties within them are managed.
- quick mention of exploration, ancient technology, salvaging, Joveian technology (“yeahhh….nooooo….uhhhh…no no noooo uhhh…errr… HAH!” I think was the exact response) 
- seamless zoom from ship to entire solar system to map
- VOIP integrated into client
- position of allied/ganged players will be displayed on seamless zoom
-“spotting” enemy ships – they mention the system currently in Battlefield 2, whereby when one player sees an enemy he/she can “spot” the enemy at which point that enemies location will be displayed on the seamless zoom to ganged / allied players 
- Allied/ganged players talking on integrated VOIP system will be shown on map as such for easy identification of who is talking, in addiction to regular TS overlay style indication of such.
- Kali-2 will primarily be the addiction of faction warfare only
- One day… Players will be able to leave the pod… One day…
- all the forums whiners about “why do we need integrated voip are sooo gonna switch!” ok, the Devs didn’t say this one, but the interviewers are sooo dam right!
- integrated VOIP will have the standard TS style moderation controls, such as mute, kick, dog assassination… err… maybe not that one… 
btw: this is actuley a video, not audio only, you may need the latest version of Quicktime to watch it, Quicktime alternative dident work for me, actuley had to install the real *snip*ing quicktime to watch.

The latest version of QuickTime Alternative worked great for me (1.75, havn't tried the 1.76-beta yet). It also fixed the audio/video stuttering problem I used to have with higher bitrate files.

Nice try. You will have to pay seperate for VOIP, but CCP (and their partner for VOIP) havnŠt decided on the conditions yet.

I`ve downloaded the pod cast and it plays for me but the sound is all screwed up it plays the sound for a few seconds and then cuts off ne1 know what might be the problem

The features for locating the person talking over the galaxy map is a nice touch.
After reading the Voixi site, it looks pretty complete. I am still waiting on some technically details on the VoIP to make the decision. I do hope they do it well, it looks promising, but I am worried about how much bandwidth it consumes.
