Anyone know what the ideal skills for flying a Crow are in PvP?

tbh, I wouldn't really bother flying a T2 ship without T2 equipment. Besides, T2 launchers are cheap when compared to Arbalests. Thus, I'd suggest getting your missile skills up, raising navigation skills as far as you can (crow's slow and you don't really want to make it any slower by having poor skills) and of course, increasing your cap skills.
Interceptors 5 wouldn't hurt either. And if you're interested in a nice fit without a Gistii MWD, train advanced weapon upgrades to lvl5. Then you can fit 3 T2 standards, T2 MWD, scram, web and two nanos.

Oh that's bull ****... There has to be more to it than that! Whenver I cross wits with another pilot in a big ship and he says "Oh I wish I had my inty with me right now, I definatley know how to fly that thing! Not this piece of crap BC..."
I think to myself..... holy God... just how bad ass could you be? Is it all skills? Or is it RL skills on executing the correct strategy? I've only fought another interceptor pilot once, and that was when I first started flying it, and I lost. The loss however, was so satsifying because it was so close. When my ship blew up and the game started laggin' a bit, I didn't know which of us had blown up since we were both in structure. He had an armor repper and I didn't think to fit one (I do now...)
So THERE HAS to be more to it than that, or all those people were simply talking out of their asses!

Quickest way to be effective in a Crow I'd Suggest:
- Interceptor lvl 4 - Rockets lvl 5 - Rocket Specialisation lvl 4 - Accelleration Control lvl 4 - High Speed Manourvering lvl 4
Training additional missile skills like Rapid Launch etc are well worth getting
With these skills you can be a very good takler with 11k+ range with T2 rockets and a 20k scrammer.

Edited by: Tiberius Ilex on 03/10/2006 09:56:45 I'd agree with Tikki and add that training standard missiles to 5 and standard spec to 3 or 4 is also a good idea.
Then get speed skills up as much as possible, buy the cheap 3% velocity and AB/MWD boost amount implants (3mil total or so) and you're pretty well set. Get those cap skills up as well!
Have a go with: 3 standard launcher IIs
1mn MWD II Faint warp prohibitor Small cap battery II
MAPC, 2 CPRs (named I think if the 2tf saving is needed).
Cap runs forever and you can do 'easy mode' fights against anything smaller than a BS by setting orbit at 13km (you'll end up around 15/16km). Damage isn't huge but no one'll touch you 1 on 1.
EDIT - Well perhaps destroyers or something packed with tracking enhancers!
