Yes, I supply ships and modules to my corpm8s and friends. 6) Why empire and not low sec? Risk V Reward. Too many griefers, no reward. 7) Why empire and not 0.0? Been there done that. My second account is there though to PWN face! 7a) please give as many reasons as you have I fly frieghters... I used to mine and rat, but that gets tedious... I'd rather do trading and building... Economic PvP and help my friends and corpm8s succeed in pvp.. to supply me those 0.0 minerals! 8) Do you belong to an alliance? I am part of a informal alliance. My alt is part of a formal alliance 9) Do you belong to a player corp? Yes. 9a) How many people active in your corp 1 man corp. One alt in a NPC flies frieghters. 10) Do you plan to enter 0.0 or live in 0.0 anytime in the future My alt already lives in 0.0 as pvp support. I make more money as a industrialist there on it than my empire character. 11) Do you make trips into 0.0 for any reason? More than once a month. I will enter 0.0 about once per week or so to generate cynos.

Low sec is a pain in the ass, you can get killed undocking, ratting, just gate jumping, what the point unless you're a pirate? 7) Why empire and not 0.0? I have lived out in Empire, I will move out there eventually when I can kill the rats that reside there without spending 10 mins on each BS spawn. For the moment I am running missions and my best Agent is where my home has always been set 7a) please give as many reasons as you have. No. (I make my own ammo thought.) 6) Why empire and not low sec? Because low sector = chaos. Even worse than 0.0. 7) Why empire and not 0.0? Because I am a casual player and can't afford to lose ships. Also, for 0.0 you need to network with people and be a lot more active into the game than I am right now. 7a) please give as many reasons as you have. Huh? (Getting a jumpclone to save those implants, but I do not have enough standing to a station in empire. I am not going to low sector until I figure out a solution to this problem.) 11) Do you make trips into 0.0 for any reason? More than once a month? My RL has me too occupied and too tired to actively play the amount of time required for PvP. 3) I mission run regularly. It is my relaxation after tedious hours at work. I socialize with the peeps in local. It is a MMO(RPG) after all. 4) I mine when the chance presents itself during a mission. 5) Nope, I don't produce anything. Though I have the skills for it. 6) Empire, and I am in Empire only because I play to relax not to be dodging blasters, railguns, lasers and missiles. 7) See the above. Besides, 0.0 often means that you are part of a larger corporation or alliance and I belong to neither. 8) No. 9) No. 10) Not really. 11) If need be I'll duck in and out in a Covert Ops to get something off the market or something akin to it. Never, I avoid lowsec like the plague due to the griefer/jerks out there. My goal in Eve is to one day fly a Mothership in a great battle that shapes the future of several sectors of 0.0 space. Somehow I don't expect I'll ever do that. Oh.. and one last thing - this game needs an enema by banning all macro'er/isk farmers.

Nope.. im a minie.. we have enough trouble keeping our own ships in one piece.. why would i try to build another? 6) Why empire and not low sec? Dont want to lose the implants i have. and dont have the skills to survive in low security yet. When i get to a point im comfortable risking the loss of the implants then i'll move into 0.0 7) Why empire and not 0.0? 7a) please give as many reasons as you have. Same as with #6.. Im currently focussing on earing isk with missions, getting my faction up, and learning skills. Not part a of a huge Corp,no protection,not rich enough to risk losing all my mining gear and ships there.(Osprey/Badger) 8) Do you belong to an alliance? A) I don't have/can't afford an alt account to stay in empire and build things for my main. B) I would have to join a big alliance if I wanted to live their, but for personal reasons I can't seek recruitment. C) I like the independance I have as a solo player D) I like not having to worry about everyone who shows up in local E) "Not blue shoot it" is a strong deterant. F) The same reason for why I stay out of low security, and point A: can't afford an alt and thus can't afford a low security status 8) Do you belong to an alliance? no 9) Do you belong to a player corp? no 9a) How many people active in your corp? After watching four alliances crumble around me, I simply don't feel like investing in it anymore. It's simply no fun for me to have to rebuild constantly with no payday. And especially not at maybe 30 minutes a day. -- better pvp (in my opinion). There are more surprise battles because there is no way to distinguish friend from foe on the map. You can't track enemy movements without a man on the scene. There are so many people on local that trying to sift through them for allies/enemies renders that difficult (though by no means impossible). For me, just a better overall war experience when the time comes. 8) Do you belong to an alliance? -- Not at the moment, may join an rp alliance in the future. 9) Do you belong to a player corp? -- Yes 9a) How many people active in your corp? -- 1. The point of this is simply to get a handle on the reasons the vast majority of people spend time in empire, rather than 0.0. I'm an alt, so that politics need not be a part of this. I'm also a 0.0 alliance player, so you can understand where I'm coming from. If you can add something usefull, do so. If you are a 0.0 player, please keep the comments constructive, this is for information gathering only. Plenty of other places to flame. =============== I hope that this is of some use to you. I would be very interested in seeing a compilation and analysis of the results. Of course in a forum thread anyone could do that. I applaud your initiative on this! For my own comment, I would say that I don't care about the whole risk vs rewards argument. If they gave mission runners 1 ISK per mission and no bounties I would still run them, and I would still live in Empire for now, just because I am motivated by backstory and plot. Yes, I interact quite a bit, I coordinate with others, I help others with missions when I have the chance, I would haul for a rookie miner if the opportunity arose, and when I have reached a point where it is appropriate (good cruiser skills) I will pvp in CONCORD-sanctioned wars. So despite my solo player corp (which anyone can declare war on if they feel the desire, with no complaints from me) I feel that I am participating in the rich tapestry that is Eve culture and society.
