Yeah pretty much, but we other Megathron pilots don't need our faces rubbed in it every 3.5 seconds thanks.

just about any decent mega pilot would be good in a 5bill ship who tries to engage only at his desired range and uses a covert ops to get that range.
nothing special about him, just alot of isk used for pvp instead of epeening in his hangar.

Farjung is a good BT pilot, but tbh any good BT pilot would be as good with the amount spent on the ship and implants.
What I find more impressive than his actual fighting ability is the fact he uses his ISK to make ub3r ships and actualy use them rather than alot of people sitting on multiple billions of ISK and STILL wont pvp because theyre afraid of losses.

LOL er hi, thanks I guess. As I've said elsewhere, it's nothing special, once you've got the basics of flying a blasterthron down, just a question of how much you're willing/able to put on the line.
And I flew that vindicator plenty without any scout at all Xendie, so meh :|.

Things kicked off in Karen on Sunday the 13th where Farjung finally lost his fabled Vindicator in an epic fight on the Hophib gate. The loss was mourned but it just got everyone all the more fired up. Imperium sent out several fleets to meet us on more than one occasion and it was a hell of a lot of fun, with quite a few smaller engagements as well.

I always enjoyed flying with him. He has balls, a brain and sticks with you unless it becomes completely rediculous. Fine wingman. He's also pretty good at finding targets. :)
There's a lot more in the MC with those qualities though. :)

Thanks :) I do try, but I'm specced in Minnie / Amarr guns, so no Tech 2 Ammo for me. I sortof fell behind the curve, my Modal Ions don't really stand up to the Tech 2 mayhem anymore :)

Heh heh... he does seem to lose a lot of them, looking at the MC Kill Board.
But then that applies to a lot of Taranis pilots, they're damn fun to fly but then they tend to... umm... spontaneously combust quite frequently.
Oh and about the thread. Faction-pimped Vindicator = Blasterthron to the power of four (if not more). Like the man says, it's not so much about the skills (although Blasterthrons are much more difficult to fly than, say, Ravens), but the guts required to risk the ship in open combat.
