I have never sold or bought a character, but i want to sell one now.
I am uncertain how to go about this:
Do I reveal the name or not? (I want to post a link to skills showroom)
What is a good starting bid/buyout (10M skillpoints)
When the sale happens, what do I do?
Do I wait for the isk and then transfer the character?
Do I need to exchange eve-mails with the buyer to confirm the deal in a tracable way?
any tips are welcome...

That clears up the technical issues, now only for the first 2 questions: revealing the name and selecting a starting bid/buyout.

(starting bid is not that important, but I want to know what the concensus is on revealing the name of a character for sale)

Don't reveal the name unless the buyer asks for it. Even then, most people will not give out the name. Its up to you tho, some people will reveal the name at the start. If its a non-pirate, unknown char there is probably no harm in revealing the name.
