gfldex	Posted - 2006.09.19 01:51:00 - [4] After I went beck online and posted this little story I went to the moon to take a look what they are doing. There was Mr. Khaak again in a hauler with his fellow corp mate Bronko Buzman in a Proph as a brave guard. I warped back in a bit closer so I can send my drones after the hauler without getting in scrambler range to that Proph. My little Arbi served me well so no reason to wast it. The hauler went down real quick to my Hammerheads and Mr. Buzman choosed to target me. He did not shoot me so I sent my drones after him and went closer to scramble him. He went down too comparabel quick. I went close to pick the loot. Maybe a med shield booster is not the best choise on a Amarr BC. Mr Khaak kindly dropped me 3 local hulls. As both never moved while my drones where working on them I would guess both where afk while setting a large POS up in low sec. A smart man wrote once: "In EVE we tax the stupid.". Sadly I was not paying attention what the times was saying or I may have been able to nick to tower too. As you all know the system scanner is your best friend and that's what I used from my well placed save spot (all but the belts around the gate I jump in at are in range). Bingo! A Obelisk on scanner. As you may learned from the vid forum we set a outpost up this weekend and that made me a expert in deploying stuff. That's where I know from that a freighter can only launch pos mods and a outpost egg. It can't touch cans or corp hangar arrays either. As there is no station in that system it's a no brainer. They are about to polute the space with one more POS! (I hate all those empty ships I cant shoot at!) I went to the planet in question and pointed my scanner at the moon and switched "use overview settings" off. Tower, Obelisk, Exec and that's it. Not always easy to kill a freighter in 15 mins depending on what ship yer in - particuarly if they log just as first shot is fired when still at full shield. Sweet kill in a cruiser though
